AYH? Next target $17k?  Cool

no.  20k.

we are due for a big upswing soon.

We have not reached July 2019 mining profits.

we need to be at 28-30k to equal the July 2019 high from the mining viewpoint

we need to be at 78k to equal the dec 2017 high from the mining viewpoint.

17k is not much

all these nice numbers are but mere stepping stones to the real take off that will happen before dec 2021.

Great thread on why Bitcoin is "un-bannable". Ray Dalio is a billionaire idiot.

Bob is never going to sell at these prices. His sensible thoughts tell him to but his capitalist, ambitious thoughts tell him it’s too soon Wink

I think Bob will sell around $16400 which would be like... I would guess... tomorrow?

Edit - Oh......... dump  Undecided

Yes, yes, everything going according to plan...  Wink

I anticipate a fight at 16205.  Hopefully I am wrong... But it doesn't matter ... we are going where we are going.  The less parabolic we are the longer the better.

Sell order placed at $16,250.

Off to run errands and do IRL drudgery...

Maybe a good number.  I think we might see it bust through this pretty hard after fizzling around 16205.

(Woo 16mm worth? wait... no.  I put an extra zero on that...)

I like tone and I met him more than once and he is a nice guy. but tones political views are really weird. I wonder why the guys who shout the loudest about how non-political bitcoin is are also sometimes the ones who have very far right wing political agendas and are not shy to try to evangelize about it. telling folks what they should eat. telling people what is "good" art. telling people how they should vote.

having a deep understanding of btc does not make someone having a deep understanding of anything else.

I think he's just parroting Saifedean and all the rest of the Bitcoin carnivore team.

Said as a multi-year keto practitioner.

But that group is so into extremes and virtue signaling... it's actually slightly embarrasing.

Agreed. But to reach 20k we'll still need to pass 17k right?  Grin

We are nowhere near to being parabolic yet... we'll get there only when we'll be approaching six digits...  Cool

I'd be careful thinking we're in the clear and there's only smooth sailing ahead. Don't fool yourself into thinking that governments will give up their monopolies on currencies willingly and without a fight.

PSA: Remember kids...

If someone is eagerly buying your bitcoin at these prices, then they are planning on selling that bitcoin at a much higher price level way down the road.  Wink

So should you hodl instead?

I certainly can't fault a man from taking some profits (Bob & $16,250), that's what I do: selling slices but HODLing the bulk.  Hope you didn't sell too much though, Sr. Bob...  [does seem unlikely]

Now that I can turn BTC into FIAT$ whenever I (might) wish, I feel under less pressure to sell.  Funny how that works, now that I have comfortable liquidity (both directions), I feel, well, MOAR HODLER.

EDIT: True that, Sr. Torque (someone's buying yours if you sell).

Checking in to see if Bob bought himself a human being......

Myself, one of my kids wants to sell their bitcoin. .10 that I paid them a few years ago for raking the lawn. Very glad to get it back into my wallet again....

Is there an "official" ATH anyway, and where would it be taken from, like Coindesk index?

Back in the days I remember the Korean exchange went past $20k
