Margin account liquidated only hours ago is now around 2.5% health again.  If this doesn’t let up soon, it will set some kind of record for repeated executions without time for a last meal or... ok, I am wittier when I am not in this type of a situation.

MARGIN SUCKS!!!
[...]
If we really visit the $23k range, I could get liquidated again-again.  I ought to avoid repeating the same mistake.

Slightly over $23,200, to be precise.

You must be here to cheer us up.

Each of us can say: "At least I am not as bad off as that shmuck."

I prefer the power of positive thinking:  Please feel free to feel smug that your bitcoins are IN YOUR WALLET WHERE THEY BELONG.  Just like I was smug and self-satisfied during past major crashes:  Hahah, the market can’t touch my bitcoins!  WHY THE BLOODY HELL DID I DO THIS, I DO NOT KNOW.

I honestly feel bad for you mate!.. I hate hearing stories like these..

I could be wrong, but it feels the rewards just don't justify the risk!

Thanks for the condolences.  And no, the rewards do not justify the risk.

I think people who use margin, should also consider the macro situation(stagflation, printer decides next events). So many people in the whole sector get liquidated, because they can’t separate when it’s time for margin. Now was the time to wait for the bottom and get a nice spot buy, i literally saved cash since weeks for this.

When I first ran into trouble, a friend that I told started out with a friendlier, more polite version of, “Are you freaking crazy!?”  He then proceeded to list things that could go wrong:  Everything from surprise political news dumping the market, to Covid-tier black swans, to flash crashes, to... it was a long list.

I knew that he was right, but I was already trapped to the point that I had been adding collateral until all my BTC was in that account.  (I started by risking only a small proportion, which I could and should have written off as a loss.)

It certainly doesn't look like a normal BTC dump to me either. In times past we would of just had a huge red candle by now, then a bounce. But nothing like that yet.

Thanks for the feedback on my gut hunch.  I’ve been replaying early May in my mind for over a month, questioning myself.  Wondering if/when I would see it again.

Well, hopefully ~$24k was low enough for now.  If that was intentional.  (Or anyway, really!)

P.S., correction of earlier post:
I was glued to the chart from May 5 until the Terra dump, watching something move the market down in neat $500 or $1000 increments whenever it wanted.  Much like this, but not as fast [after the initial, much wilder, spectacular crash, which was very fast].

Even though people still believe its a conspiracy, I keep saying it. The great reset. An artificial world crisis started with a PCR pandemic. Continued with a War from a World Economic Member named Putin to fire up the food and supply crisis. Next crisis is in the making you can be sure. It will probably be a global internet shutdown that lasts for months.

Just look back, in the last 10-20 years lot of everyday Joe´s became millionairs. And with the crypto and NFT boom even 12 year old kids got richer than some very old Wallstreet thiefs. We have more millionairs than ever before in the history. They wont allow this to happen. They are resetting the world economy and monetary system so only they can be rich again.

Also Kiyosakis Tweet made me wonder. He was always pushing and stating to buy Gold, Silver and Bitcoin to rescue your wealth. Now he saying buy Tuna cans, you cant eat your Gold, Silver and Bitcoin. Looks like people like him selling their bags. Bezos selling tons of his Amazon stocks was the biggest red flag that most of us ignored.

Even a tiny part of mass media starts to write about it -> https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2022/may/25/in-davos-global-elites-conspire-to-take-away-your-/

@PlanB twitted

Worst bitcoin monthly RSI ever: 43.7
Bottom Jan 2019, BTC $3400: RSI 43.9
Bottom Jan 2015, BTC $210: RSI 44.6
And some blue: we are 60% below monthly ATH

It very painful to some people right mostly for new investors to see their portfolios on Red, but it takes the heart of lion to keep holding or buying.

You are so amazing and under-appreciated, too.
We might need to raise money for a statue... #justsaying.

Even though this is sarcastic, I still like it. Thanks!

Good play. Right now it looks like you're going to get it too.
Pretty much, thanks!

Looking forward to the next 4 years with yall beautiful people. It feels good to have more than a BTC.

Times like these I just don't look at the monetary value of my various wallets. I avoid looking.  Undecided

Ha. I've been updating mine with each drop. Makes the bounce look better that way.

When the damn bounce actually happens that is.

This can be the best teacher and make you more successful in the future. I hope we can hold 23,200, there’s more longs coming in now, could also be a bull trap tho.

Morning gents

Now this is more like it......

.......once the band aid gets ripped off a proper, we can get back to sideways and up.

Keep an eye on that accumulation distribution on the monthly , I mean, you only have to check it once a month.... should be a safe guide to when we are really bottomed, you might miss a bit of the move but hey.

Thanks.  (Though what I really need is for it to stay over about $23,202.  One of the delightful features of margin accounts is the razor-sharp line between “rekt!” and “a miss is as good as a mile”.)

(Please see brief reply to you appended to that post, if you missed it... edited in after.)

Sorry, I am admittedly not in the best state of mind at this particular moment.  Overestimating any little upwards jiggle on the basis of Hopium.  Of course, you are right...

Anyway, I do hope that you cheered Bitcoin up.  It looks so sad, so forlorn.  It needs a little smile.

Not really sir Many People posted such Posts i mean exactly same posts in Wo community back some time

Hold is Gold
Hold is Hold looks boring to me now

One one end you know if BTC rise it will never ever see its bottom as

First ATH 17000$ and bottom 4800$ this cycle ATH 69k and bottom may be arround 20k ( Estimated )
So what it mean hold Just Dont sell whatever price if you are Claiming Hold them you are jsut wasting time as You will sell at good profit it is the reserve not a way to make money.

So if you just Understand BTC potential why you are Connected with market let the market goes down just believe on the potential and let BTC complete its beautiful Journey.

Looking around twitter it seems there is the possibility for a lot of BTC, that is being used for collateral, to be sold due the current shitcoin leveraged chaos that is going on. All those defi yield promises falling apart it seems.

We aren’t getting a bounce for a little while yet.
