 Shocked Shocked Shocked

MtGox says on their homepage: "Due to the daily withdrawal limits imposed by our European bank, all fund transfers to SEPA accounts in Europe may take up to 3 weeks.".

So not even this is true.

Anyone has experience with MtGox wire transfer withdrawal (non-SEPA)?  What's the typical delay like?

It could be true for withdrawals requested now. That is even reasonable considering the much lower trading activity now compared to a month ago. That could have shortened the queue a lot.

Not sure. A month or two ago everybody wanted in. People queued up to get verified to finally be able to purchase some of this strange Internet money.

Not it seems a lot of people want out - and can't.

USD wire to Australia ordered afternoon of 20th arrived morning of 22nd. They subtracted exactly $20 from the amount withdrawn, not 2000 yen.

you'd think that if banks have a limit on the amount of funds they can send per day they'd open accounts with other banks.

Too much effort required. I don't get the impression running MtGox has its CEOs full attention.

Cancelled my SEPA withdrawal after 35 days.  I'm giving the international withdrawal a try now.

Update: International withdrawal only took 3 business days!

Hardly anyone cares about your bank's fee. What did MtGox charge?

Uhm. I've got a feeling.

Liberty Reserve news came 5 days ago.
OkPay news also came 5 days ago.

Can anyone please confirm he/she successfully withdrew money through international transfer after that date?

I mean no FUD sorry I genuinely want to know.
