I think an 80 plus platinum PSU efficiency is around 92%
6x120 watt is on verge of your PSU limit and it's natural to give up and lose GPU.
Either lower your power limit or use higher PSU

I think there is some confusion here. Only 6 risers are powered by the EVGA. ALL cards (6+2) are powered by the 1400W PSU’s. 7 (6+2) on one 1400W, 6 (6+2) powered by the other 1400W. The X-11 breakout boards are connected via a Molex to the mobo so all PSU’s power on/off at the same time.

Usually lost GPU cause by high power or over clock, try to lower and find the spot with no errors, then raise slowly.

But should't watchdog be restarting the rig on any error? It's seems the GPU crashes and it freeze's / crashes the OS as well.

Power limit is set to 125W, so essentially 85%. Core 100, Memory 475.

Rebooted the rig due to this error at 10PM, it's now 11AM and all is fine with no settings changed. The only difference is that Quake isn't opened (when the rig boot's only terminal opens and start's mining) but I usually open it to view what's going on. Obviously it is running in the background, but this is just not consistent at all so it's difficult to pinpoint.

I think it is best to power a GPU and its riser from the same PSU.

In an attempt to maximize hashing returns, I'm trying to use SALFTER_MPH autoswitching instead of the WTM one

The issue I have with it is that it jumps too much between similar coins. This results in pool hopping and difficulty readjustment on each hop. To counter the problem, I have set a long delay between checks.

Is there a better way to set it up, and to maximize the profit ? I'm using 1070s here.

Hi All,

I am trying to use zpool's multialgo switch with nvOC but don't seem to get my head around the configuration. Do I need to type "Zpool" in Coin portion of configuration and where can I mention multi algo for zpool switching? I would appreciate if someone share the configuration file or exmaple.

Thanks,

Yes it is allowed and will not affect autostart. Use the command:
Code:
passwd
to change it. Reboot to confirm that miner will autostart

Hi everyone, quick question

What would one use to monitor his rigs? Like let's say a rig crashes, how would you receive a notification?

Or is it just to set it to auto-reboot with something like watchdog and watch weekly logs to see if a rig crashed too often?

Thanks for the help

Hi!

I am waiting on the next stable release with v0019. v0019-1.4 was BETA and I don't know about v0019-2.0, is v0019-2.0 a stable release?

Does v0019-2.0 have all auto-updates disabled? (I would prefer to have automatic driver updates and automatic system updates disabled, I am afraid they will bring instability)

Just a note.

Its better to use :
Code:
wget -N https://www.dropbox.com/s/cyo86xoqotplges/nvOC-19-2-update

In case there was an existing old update file in downloads folder, wget replace it with new one.

Keep calm and carry on mining...

You can use Telegram alerts and webinfo to check your rigs.

i have another rig with nvidia cards running on another mining distro and claymore was updated to 10.4 i had no problem since then from random reboots... stable as a rock...
