The L3+ is very Over Clockable. Especially in a Data Hall environment. They run like champs way over the stock 384. Go up 10% and they barely blink. You can go 20% without concern. Especially because soon they will be rendered impotent by the newer Tech. It definitely boosts daily numbers considerably. Those things are Tanks.
L3+ 384 mhz 740 watts 502 MH/s 444 mhz 850 watts 580 MH/s 462 mhz 888 watts 605 MH/s

Is not worth the invest right now, stop buying L3+ guys, now you get less than 2 usd daily in proffit, and it will be lower, it was 20 usd only 5 months ago, in 3 months you will pay more for electricity than you mine.
Stop buying L3+ , lets give Bitman a lesson, they need to stop building this like toasters.
They are not, they are probably deploying their 16nm scrypt chips to their data centers now, any L3+ for sale are probably their old units they are swapping out. We will probably be seeing their 1GH 500 watt miner for 2k USD by june for sale, after they have ROIed their own stuff of course.

Difficulty rose from 6.6m on April 1st to 9.7m now. It is going up too fast. Cheap miners means alot more sales and higher difficulty increase. Halving is still some time away at 450 days.

I'm personally surprised Bitmain is still keeping prices so high on their L3++s even though they're destined to go the way of the D3 in terms of profitability. Falling coin prices right now don't help out much either. I could see the L3++ dropping to current A3 levels at ~$500 or even lower soon if Bitmain's in a rush to get rid of their machines. Difficulty is going up just like Sandal_Hat mentioned too, there's a rise of about 8.13% predicted for the next difficulty period according to Bitcoinwisdom right now, and I imagine it's only going to go up. You'd have to be insane to buy one of these unless you have near-free electrical costs and a coupon.

thanks! How do you find the hashrate and power consumption so far? Stable? thanks, will wait for your results. @jstefanop
i wouldn't mind to pay for working version that can easily be updated using GUI.. is that possible since most of us here are probably using hosting facility. Has anyone tried down volting L3++ via lowering standard frequencies? any results?
I haven't, but I will be. My goal for this weekend is to tent my setup. In the coming days I'll try the down volting. Need to make sure they're setup and stable in their new home first. I was able to set the voltage on the L3++ to 0x90 on all but 1 of the boards. On one I left it at the default for the L3++ of 0x60 which is interestingly higher than the L3+ which is 0x80.

Alot of interest and overcapacity and negative profits if compared to just buying the coin lol. It may not even breakeven. The only type of miner worth buying now are new ones that possibly break even in 1-2months.

This creates huge sales of miners and major difficulty increase. I mention this a number of pages back already. My worry is that L3+ is on 28nm. If a l4+ 16m appears, it will wipe out the L3+ because it should be 3 times stronger. I hope they dont appear as there is no real viable competitor to L3+. Innosilicons is only 20% more efficient but cost too much more and is already on 14/16nm. So, the L3+ leads the market.

And my Miners are officially not profitable anymore -21 cents per day on 4 machines. Let see what the next weeks bring, maybe I turn them off if the price drops further or diff keeps climbing like that. And yes, I also believe we should face that L4 is real and hashing. I fully believe humanity is stupid in general, but I doubt we find that many idiots buying L3++ in the last couple of weeks, that we can rule out the existence of L4 and blame diff increase on them...

I'm at 77c profit per day on ONE L3+..after electric. Living the dream! FML. I think LTC difficulty went up last month 31%... see www.bitcoinwisdom.com the LTC table/chart area...so what fun will we have for the month of June 2018, IF the price goes sideways and we take say a 30% hit at the other side of the face with difficulty.....dare I say then 52c per day an L3+? Ah well, now maybe I should be preparing mentally to 'panic sell' some LTC (and BTC)? ...I suppose if I sell enough...and throw $$$ a the problem... ...that MAY get me over my 'funk' on the BTC and ALT prices dumping...I heard, conspicuous consumption will solve all your problems in the USA? Right? Good thing we are not under any stre...stre....stress..because money means nothing to us..right? Iron Will and all that...(sorry, off to sob in a corner for a few...)

Who would buy if you risk running over MC=MR I doubt people with enough money to buy big are that careless with their moeny

Not very feasible that those are being driven by massive sales of legacy miners eg; L3+ L3++ S9 etc etc. Also, why do you guess ALL of the Bitmain coupons expire by end of June? Why do you guess they have been firesale'ing legacy technology. My guess is clearing the shelves of legacy inventory to squeeze every last drop out of the last amazing run they've had. To make room for the next one. July or August will be the announcements.
