Maybe some preordered the A4+
It seems that Bitmain can change their "most efficient litecoin-miner" advertising

The L3+ brings 500MH and draws 800W  -> 1.6W /MH
The A4+ brings 620MH and draws 750W  -> 1.2W /MH

What is the A4+ and where can I find this miner I don't see it on the bitmain website?
They launched it and sold out in 1/100th of a second. Sold 50,000 units!! Hard to believe I know..... Grin

Does Bitmain releasing new L3++ miner ?
Why everyone is selling his L3+ ?
What is going on ?
I wouldn't sell any of my L3+'s for anything. Got all of them for under $1,300.00 per unit and they are rock solid little machines. The only people "trying" to sell them are dumbasses that pre-ordered truck loads of them to try and rape people. But, instead of doing the raping, they are the ones getting raped. Such sweet music.
Agreed..poetic justice.. Its funny how they still try to sell them for a profit, eventually they will have to let them go for a loss..hope its a meaningful loss.

Who is selling them for a loss, They are still fetching $3K on Flea-Bay
"Eventually" means at some point in the future..in other words not right now.

I would not want to buy an A4+ but I know the old A4 are solid fuckers.... They had no issues at all.

I don't think they are raping people, 3k for a machine that costs around 2000 is a good markup it's not dishonest at all considering sometimes you may have to pay $600 to import the machine (depending on the country) 3k is very reasonable also ebay and paypal take 13% so you people just like to complain because people are selling things for a profit?Huh Oh isnt that the reason why your into crypto to make a profit right?? SO stop hating on other people that are making a profit....
It's not the "profit" we mind. It's posting current $ calculators and taking advantage of uneducated people to stuff their pockets when they don't know or give 2 fat fucks about this space or the protocols. I bet you get pretty miffed that the Chinese mining farms are gobbling up 65% of the hashing rate and destroying the decentralization? Well if you were about anything but "profit" you would be. Fuck greedy scumbags that put money over everything else. That's what's ruining the world and THAT's what Crypto is here to fight. Too bad the cancerous parasites are here now to spread their inhuman greed and filth onto Crypto as well. Just like fucking scum at JP Morgan who would rape their own Mother's for a few extra dollars on their bonus. Yeah profit is fine. Greed can choke on my C%$K.

Hi guys, my antminer l3+ is stuck from time to time and I have no way to reboot him (it's in another location).
What is the best option to do a restart/reboot remotely?

I have it connected to a bridged router, which connects on wifi with my main router.
After I reboot manually, when everything works ok, I can access it through ssh, but not through web interface (i don't know how).

PS: it is possible that my problem is the bridged router, maybe it hangs and the l3plus is without connection..

Get one of these, you can turn on/off power from your phone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0178IC5ZY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Will these safely handle passing through 800W 24/7 without melting? Is there an specification for that?

I have been running my L3+ units for months non stop with no issues. I even have the fan output down to under 50% due to the noise. Works fine. They have a setting to auto-shut down if temperature raises over 80 degrees C.   Rock solid miner Smiley

A4+ is at US$3300 each without PSU but included shipping (DHL) 620Mhs +120Mhs more than L3 and cost 1000 more
L3+ is at US$2220 each with PSU and shipping (Fedex) 500Mhs

If u have a proper cooling, get L3+ and Overclock it

There had been some reports of issues with overclocking, i would personally not risk it.
It also will not improve the efficiency which defines how you can stay in the game over the long run   Wink

I'm an expat in China and ordered 6 L3+ rigs this week for around US$2020 (paid in RMB from the Chinese website) that are due to be shipped in early December.

Dealt with Kirk and another Bitmain employee using Wechat (Chinese equivalent of Facebook on mobile phones). Kirk was hopeless and the other person was helpful.
Payment was by bank transfer and took two days to confirm.
Shipping should take around 5 days.

At current mining rates with multipool, I expect the ROI to be a little under 4 months. If difficulty increases within the next two months, may need up to 6 months for ROI.

Will order PSU's in the next few days which will cost around US$110 each. PSU's should be shipped within a week of ordered.

Excited to be getting the rigs in 7-8 weeks and nervous about increased mining difficulty while waiting  Tongue

S9 14T Experience
Wanted to get 4 of these rigs which were due to go on sale 2pm last Wednesday. Was on the Chinese website at 1:58pm constantly refreshing but no stock available. Asked Kirk from Bitmain what was happening at 2:03pm and he said that all the 5000 rigs had sold out. Yeah right. I reckon they were never released online and were sold directly to large industrial customers. With two hard forks coming up for BTC, S9 rigs are probably not a good choice so no loss. Just very frustrating.

Any suggestions on using some other PSUs on the L3+. I forgot to order PSU from bitmain for the November batch. Will any 1200W PSU from amazon work on it or do some work better? Not interested in spending $350 for just a name brand.

Definitely don't shell out extra money to get a standard brand name computer power supply when really the server power supplies you can find are not only better for the job, but much cheaper.

Something like this is perfect, and it's only $100! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Power-Supply-for-Antminer-L3-110-120V-or-Antminer-D3-L3-200-240V-PSU-/162709813569?hash=item25e242b941:g:eG4AAOSw1aVZ2cD6

Why not just get the AWP3+ ? If you only have a few miners I do not see the benefit in fooling with server PSUs...

My four are waiting at the UPS office to be picked up!!  Woo Hoo!!!

Woo Hoo, congratulations!

Make sure to make a full inspection of the miners before putting them to work.

Happy mining!

and the best part no call from UPS about extra charges!!

Really? I have 3xD3's coming soon via DHL. Bitmain told me they won't change the pricing on the invoices. I'm a bit worried Canada Customs is gonna hit my ass hard with duties.....anyone else ship to Canada from Bitmain via DHL here? whats your experience with customs/duty fees?

There is no duty but you will have to pay PST/ GST or HST pending your province

How is that Lexical analysis working out bickneleski?

My L3s work fine too but they reboot on their own. Most of them do that once per day but two units reboot every few hours. There not many HW errors and no issues with the hash boards. Not sure what might be causing that. Temperature is around 55C.

I had an issue with two L3's suddenly showing offline ASICs across all boards. Bitmain advised to re-flash them and they've been good ever since. Version installed was the same but the issue still disappeared it seems. Maybe helps?

I had the same issue. I was in the July batch and once I uploaded the image onto the august version, my chip temp lowered around 5-10°C and the reboots stopped completely. Now I have miners running for 10 days without a single problem.
