Anyone mining DNotes(NOTE) ?
What pool are you using?
It's showing profitable on WhatToMine but while calculating on a few pools, real life figures seems not much more than mining LTC...
comments?
With Nicehash gone (for the time being at least), Prohashing seems to be the next most profitable pool. Hopefully Nicehash comes back but if they don't, has anyone found anything besides Prohashing that brings comparable profits? Procrashing is very taxed right now. They have well over their capacity in miners from overflow. Problem is, some of your miners seem to get assigned a massive difficulty so none of your shares get accepted on certain machines, BUT they don't fail over. I had some units run all night and got ZERO shares while others were fine. GranatGas is dead. Zpool is very suspect. It's very tough right now for switching pools. It's a veritable minefield.

I have noticed that with Nicehash down, people are putting their miners on pools and profits are down!!
RIP L3+ Scrypt mining, the L3+ was profitable cause BCC "bitconnect" has a POW now they POS so all the hashrate will transfer to LTC, diff to the moon will be +2.5 million in the next days and by the end of month when December batch shipped they will be +4 million so expect D3 scenario LMAO!!!! Except for one thing. LTC is at $132 !! LOL. Bitconnect?? Who the fuck cares about Bitconnect?? POS=Piece of shit.

It was crap that pulled a lot of hash away from litecoin and other good coins. That meant we got more of them. Personally, I'd rather have .17 of $125 than .13 of $125, but because the BCCers have come flooding back on everything else, our pie slices of good coins are getting smaller.
That said, even though yesterday while people were dumping alts to get in late to the BTC rally (while I was dumping BTC to get cheap alts) I was telling myself that LTC and others would rebound after BTC leveled off, I was still wowed to watch the 50% LTC jump this morning (obviously that run abated some too, but still! fun to watch).

LTC probably has much room to run. One of the most underrated protocols on the board right now.

LTC probably has much room to run. One of the most underrated protocols on the board right now. Easily. Do you know if Prohashing integrates any sort of solo mining? I was timing my miners and just before 24 hours was up to see how much they had made, I got a huge jump in profit. I look away for an hour or so and I come back to a jump of nearly 20% of what I made over the entire night. Is mining through them really that unpredictable? I was ready to switch off and just mine straight litecoin.

I think that in some cases you should not be indignant, because all the same the magnet remains very efficient and with good incomes, especially if we take into account what today's prices for crypto currency.

There have been a number of corrections to payouts at Prohashing lately, I suspect that's more likely to be responsible for a huge jump than anything else.
At this point, if you look at their front page at the division of coins mined post-nicehack, we're pretty much just mining litecoins now, so probably not too much harm in moving some machines to something less prone to instability. Prohashing might be most useful if there's a recently devalued alt you want to grab cheap and easy. And I'm inclined to always have one machine on them in case they bounce back.
On the other topic, I agree LTC is heavily undervalued, certainly moreso than any other established coin. If Charlie succeeds at making Litecoin the payment backbone of BTC via LN and atomic swaps, .1BTC would be undervalued. They've got a strong tech, a strong cultural position, a strong team, are top of their algorithm for security and... terrible marketing. Perfect combo for bargain pricing.

Bitmain is really f*** up. I sent my L3+ for repairs, they shipped me back somebody else's defective miner (not working) and they not responding to any of my support tickets.

I have a Dream! My dream is on April 10th, 2018. When the next batch of Bitmain L3+'s will finally ship out... The PRICE of LTC will be SOOOOO High, I will be devastated with regret I did not pre-order some! (Will just have to console myself with the stuff I have now) Anyway......MY DREAM!

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Mates, I am sorry for the question, but do you think that it is still a good choice to buy an L3 or S9 ? If i buy from bitmain it will arrive not before than march and with good price.. If I buy now here to me, I have to spend 3000 euro for 1 L3+.. and it is very much.. I am new and i wouldn't waste money as I wouldn't lose an opportunity to mine a good coin... for me LTC has good opportunity to grow up compared to other coin so i don't know.. what do you think defintely? and why? Thank you for help..

Well if you were a true supporter of LTC and would think long term you would have bought up instead of waiting for it to drop. Why dont people learn. I know people that wait for Bitcoin to drop back ever since it was 8 bucks....

Take a look at " dollar cost averaging ". Basically buy small increments of your overall intended position size at different times and prices. Eg; buy 1/3 of what you want to hold initially and then scale limit buy orders in at various prices lower and or purchase on buy stops above the market if you like the "momentum" trade". I personally don't like buying rallies but I do it under certain circumstances. Like BTC and LTC. Huge momentum.
