1:24pm us eastern time L3+ still on sale
for 2378$ how about those already paid march batch? How unfair is this bitmain ?
L3+ is gonna be like D3 is soon

I would bet that Bitmains revenue between selling the miners and mining with them too is an unimaginably high number.

Especially with BTC dump. Time to gain that money and make new miners. Smiley

Actually delivery time wise, the promise was march delivery and it is not march yet. So, it isnt wrong. I have L3+ coming for march delivery too. It would be nice if they sent it to us early but it is their choice yes, not a guarantee.

Selling 100 dollar coupons (8units expire 11th June, 14 units expire 1st july) and 125 dollar coupon (2 unit exp 30th June). Selling at 20% of value

If anybody is interested in buying an L3+ Jan batch for 0.3 BTC + shipping send me a PM. I prefer selling to another forum member than going through ebay.
Some tips...

I recommend you do a proper sales thread in the marketplace computer hardware section.

Photos of the hardware with a piece of paper and your name on it.

And be ready to accept payment through a escrow service.
how the escrow service is happening here Huh I am selling antminer A3

After the seller and buyer have a confirmed deal,

1.  Buyer sends the btc payment to escrow agent  (OgNasty or philipma1957 for example).
2. Buyer sends a personal message as instructed by the escrow agent  (OgNasty has his escrow service thread for instructions).
Make sure that you have two recipients for this message, both escrow agent and seller.
3. Escrow confirms that he has successfully received funds and he says that he will release after buyer has confirmed that he has received the goods in a good condition.
4. Seller sends the goods to the buyer.
5. Buyer receives the goods and confirms that they are in promised condition.
6. When escrow agent has received confirmation from the buyer, he will release the funds to the seller.
7. Trade complete.  Smiley

Already there....

sheesh....I remember when they were going for ..I think it was $1650?

nope...running mine into the ground..not looking to get any more at this point

the swap'ing crypto for equip died IMHO, sometime last July 2016...with the price of crypto shooting up...

just can't do it anymore..them days may be past (however, selling crap on a rummage sale and then using FIAT to gamble on mining equip may still be a hedge)

but straight mining crypto for equip ..yech...

Is there any way to tell how long a miner has been used? I'm about to buy 2 L3+'s off of a guy locally and he said that he has mined with them for a month but I really wanted to check and see if there is a way for me to tell.

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be

If you ask for the miner serial number, you can check the order date here https://shop.bitmain.com/support.htm?m=technicalSupport

See "Warranty Check".

See "Warranty Check".

This does however only show you how old the miner is and how long the warranty will last. It does not show if the miner was OC in which case the warranty would be void even if you still fall under the 6-month time frame.

Just to keep in mind. You might also want to check the internal dashboard to see if all chips are working or if some dashboard have already failed

True. I have unfortunately not found any usage hours calc in the Antminer.

If somebody has more info how to find it out, please share that info here.

I also agree you Albortz on your later part of the post.

I assume there is no such thing as an operation time counter that you are looking for, for a few different reasons.

First of all, if this counter was on the controller, every only mildly talented Linux user could reset it. Otherwise if Bitmain would indeed have included something like that, they'd certainly show it in the Admin GUI.

Assumed Bitmain does some sort of "Burn-in" (quotes are intended) on our miners before they ship them they probably have some interest that you can not in any way determine reliably the previous operation hours of your miner.

Since you can return only single blades and supposedly Bitmain can see if they have been overclocked anytime, I guess that overclocking just sets a bit somewhere on the controller chip on the blade that they can read out, but again not in the controller itself. And I think also that Bitmain has no incentive to know the operation time of a blade, just if it has been overclocked, allowing them to back out from warranty (simply because they can assume it ran 24*7 from the day it was delivered to the customer anyway).

Batch online now $2378, delivery 10 business days. I'll pass, mine is mining $15 a day Sad

This pretty much what an L3+ brings in these days? That dropped off. It should do better once the LTC price comes back up though right?

Well yes and no.

By the time LTC goes back up (if at all) many new miners will be shipped and they will most likely exceed the number of miners broken by that time. So its kinda a wash

Yes if difficulty would stay where it is right now and it takes 4 months for LTC to go back to 300$ Your Profits per day would double (more or less)

But assuming the price would go up and at the same time more miners go online = difficulty raises. you will receive less LTC per day. These lower LTC payments multiplied by the new higher exchange rate, do not automatically result in higher Dollar Payouts compeared to today

yeah, kinda what I figured...with difficulty rise...even it the LTC price went back to say $250..by March 2018..it would be LTC for LTC..you'd probably break even...

of course if LTC price stays in the $150 buck to $200 range with difficulty ..my guess (and I mean guess) is that you'd lose out.....

if you don't need the equip...my advice is run the stuff you have into doorstop status...if the price goes sideways and tanks...well just have to make enough above elec

and you are still golden..if the price goes up ...again with the difficulty..same thing only a few more months of the above.....

me..not looking at anything till maybe June 2018 (of course this can change at a whim on my part) Smiley

I sell my machines.....1/2 of what I get goes to IRS anyway..(at my current rate 40% about and 10% state tax rate) ...so I'm running them into doorstops...I ALMOST sold

my 10 KNC Titans for 1 BTC each at $1,000 BTC in Jan 2017....man...would I a be a crying now....

no, will just run all my pow scrypt into the ground......perhaps another price pump will save me...(hey, doubtful...but still kool aid drinking if not buying ASICs till June 2018 or

at least not looking at such till then)

what the hell..I know zip...just how I see it
