Xavi is not flattering De Jong to lead opinions so that there are clubs interested in signing De Jong. Everything Xavi has said is a true fact, De Jong deserves praise from everyone because he has proven to be one of the best midfielders of his time.
Xavi still desperately needs De Jong in his squad, but the club conditions forced him to release De Jong to another club. Barcelona spending will be absorbed more to pay De Jong salary so it is difficult for the club to register other players due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules. Frenkie de Jong now has two options open to him, a move to Manchester United or a decision to cut wages and stay at Barcelona. My guess is Frenkie de Jong will stay at Barcelona with wages cut. Even in this case I saw a news that was quite extreme in my opinion because there it was said that De Jong would be taken to legal action if he did not want to leave Barcelona.
As for Xavi, he seems reluctant to get rid of players even though if we look at this now one way for them to be able to include their new players is to remove some of the existing players so that their finances can be said to be more appropriate because now they are too much for the salary limit they are still confused in reducing it.

I believe Barcelona collected enough money to sign new players and to pay their wages so they aren't in rush to let him go if Xavi ask Barcelona administration to keep him this season. There is another window the next winter in case he seems to be useless for the club.

De Jong is currently the highest paid player in Barcelona. Barcelona has a cap on salaries of 400 million but the real wage bill is much higher. If Barcelona does not fit into the limit, then La Liga will not allow newcomers to register. How can the denouement of this situation be delayed until winter? Maybe I don't understand something?

Manchester United just need to do the necessary things, anything that can be done to strengthen the team not to perform like last season. It is really bad if their is no different with the performance of Manchester United with that of last season.  They need signing players that can make a better difference.

There is still time for Manchester United to improve everything that is needed next season. Because if you look at some of the pre-season games for Manchester United, I think there is a slight difference that Manchester United has achieved now and it can still change for the better next season because Manchester United are also targeting more wins next season. Other teams got better as well, which means they have a very tough job against everyone now and I am guessing that the best case would be making a good roster change and buying a good striker if Ronaldo won't play and getting a good defensive line as well. I am quite sad that Timo Werner could not find his place in his current team and at the same time, I am quite happy that he is not just wasting anyone’s time and trying to move on. He is ready to sign a contract for RB Leipzig. I believe he is going to join RB Leipzig for a fee of €30 million. He was so good previously for RB Leipzig, Thomas Tuchel got him for the release clause.

But his performance in Chelsea was not good at all. I hope he will be able to find his form in RB Leipzig again. The deal looks to be almost done between the player and the team.

Leipzig must be a very special team for Werner, as he is about to transfer to his old team despite dozens of teams that want to transfer. werner will definitely lose to compete with sterling because sterling will be played most often then moving to leipzig is the wisest choice, besides werner wants to play for germany in the world cup then leipzig is the most suitable place for him.
