Barcelona have told Frenkie de Jong they want to annul his existing contract and return to the deal he was on before, alleging the terms given to him by the club’s previous board involved criminality and provide grounds for legal action against those involved.

It thought it was a rumor but I have heard this from different sources now. It seems Ten Hag is looking to bolster Manchester United forward by eyeing Bologna’s Arnautovic. Though, I still wonder what his role at the club would be with Martial, Ronaldo and of course Rashford’s presence still very active in the club. And it may very well be that Erik Ten Hag has no or very little faith in Ronaldo at the club. But there are situations where Erik Ten Hag will play with the option of three strikers and one striker, depending on which team they face. This move makes it possible to overcome the three striker formation because apart from Ronaldo and Martial, Marcus Rashford is the most suitable choice, while for substitutes, nothing is efficient if Rashford is chosen as the main player.

It feels to me that an insider in the Manchester United board is working around the clock to see the club go into relegation. I know I am sounding paranoid right now but it's just the way I feel. My suggestion is that United should have prioritized signing 2 top-level wingers, 1 right-footed and 1 left-footed, and not a striker. Unfortunately Man Utd bid to sign Arnautovic had ended due to huge demand of sign on fee and fans preventing him from moving away from Bologna, Moreso Arnautovic is 33, I don't think he can be effective at that age considering the physicality and quality of EPL, the club should scout for a young striker like Halaand, Man Utd will now have to rely on Ronaldo who is not fit while Anthony Martial is out Injured, according to a news report Eriksen played as a false nine last weekend while Rashford and Sancho played at the flanks that shows lack of center forward in the club thus despirately searching for an experience striker.

Man utd is actually finding it hard to attract those quality players like city and Liverpool because of lack of champions league football. If you follow some of those new signings in both City and Liverpool you see that united actually bid for them. It just high time united focus on young players and start the rebuilding now than going for those old players

The question is that if he should be signed into Manchester United will it help to strengthen Manchester United performance.  Manchester United needs  young defenders,  Manchester United does not only need strikers , it will be nice everything is well balanced  for them to realise a better performance.

Actually it would be very good if he was there but if you look at your statements I would prefer United to make something interesting by bringing in another defender, at least there is one player who can replace Maguire's position there.

Manchester United is obviously trying to get as many options open as they can. This is because they have been chasing De Jong for a long time who is a really competent player. But the problem is players like them are not willing to demote themselves from the Champions League to the Europa League. This is especially the case when they are about to enter into their prime. So for obvious reasons Manchester United could not get the player.

Savic and Rabiot are on Manchester United's radar. Both of them are very capable players. But I don’t think any of them will be able to have the impact which De Jong could have had in the squad.
