I think the biggest problem for Manchester United when it comes to signing new, strong players is the fact that they don't play in the champions league. If I was Casemiro, would I leave Real Madrid for Manchester United? Probably not. I doubt that Manchester would pay him significantly more and from a professional athlete's perspective, would I really go to a club that perhaps doesn't even qualify for the champions league next season? I would only do that if I don't see any chance to make it into the first 11 of my current club ever again. But I don't see that problem for Casemiro.
