Yes I think it is based on Miners Batch for the deployment. For what I understood. And it seems logic too.
Yes it seems logic, but GW just confimed that it will not change the timeline for me if i put tokens in my account?? Dont know why probilly main shudule eats all there effort. I also cant log in to my account for selling again Hope that tomorrow is just gone be a better day for me

If they just fill the pods according to the miner purchase queue the excess tokens which are bought on etherdelta may not push you in the queue forward even if they represent first batch tokens. A pitty. But why can't you log to your account to sell again? Is it locked? That really concerns.

I would buy more tokens from the exchange if I was able to use them to deploy my 4 miners that they have now . It makes sense to me that they wouldn't mind since all of the are issued for batch 1 and 2 anyway. I like the progress monitoring they are using now to keep us up to date with the progress. I just wish they would keep on the schedule.

4. Option for batch 3 & 4 token buyers with delivered miners at GW
I wonder whether the following is possible?
Maybe instead of waiting multiple week's, a batch 3 & 4 token buyer could also purchase the amount of needed tokens from etherdelta.com in order to mine.
Assuming: 1. the supply of tokens on the etherdelta must come from batch 1 & 2, because no other tokens seem to be issued 2. Pods for first & second batch holders are running (which they currently are not) 3. token holders can always mine (this is what GW said mutiple times)
The batch 3 & 4 token buyer would then double his spending on tokens but wouldn't need to wait so long. He should actually then be able to mine in the pods for the first and second batch token holders. And once the batch 3 & 4 tokens are issued he then can sell his excess tokens back to etherdelta.
I am a first batch token holder waiting to mine, so I do not know whether this works or not and I did not ask GW.
Maybe my thinking is flawed therefore any comments are appreciated.
Hitbtc.com also offer WTT tokens. They are futures. That means the exchange (or special partners) have also bought WTT by GigaWatt and already put them for trade. If you buy them the tokens can not be withdrawn untill the real tokens are issued by GigaWatt. I think this is also the case by Etherdelta i think. Also its not clear by witch batch release the tokens will be avaible for withdrawel. Are you sure Hitbtc.com is real? It seems like a scam to me. Perhaps Giga Watt can chime in on this or maybe send them a message about this. I have used Ether Delta and it works easily and transfers work well. Market cap only shows them as the trading market.

Once the mining is successfull the price of the tokens may be too high for a positve return on a miner investment.

Where did you buy the tokens? They are not listed yet or are they?

Where did you buy the tokens? They are not listed yet or are they? For us waiting for Batch 3, Are we able to rent out our tokens by just buying from Ether Delta? Is it possible or do we really need to wait until they release the Batch 3? It's really taking a while releasing those tokens, I can't help to buy tokens on ether delta.

My etherdelta bought tokens just come on top of my first batch tokens and yes, renting them out is possible. But keep in mind what Dopert confirmed: you don't get forward in the miner deployment queue.

I would try with one token first.

None are mining, and WTT batches are not necessarily connected with equipment buys anymore. According to the latest official information, early buyers should start mining in the next few weeks. For others it would probably be Q1 2018 only, depending on their queue in the mining deployment schedule. But there are several delays. Please keep in mind that you need both, WTT AND equipment to mine with GW. Just the tokens will not mine anything, but you can rent them out.

That is not true, there are people already mining, tokens are being rented out and generate profits for some.

People who are mining are legacy customers or early buyers who sent their own equipment. They are mining in the existing facilities. The new Pods are not officially mining yet for token holders.

Ok, but then it is still 'some' that are mining and 'some' that have their tokens rented out, not none as you stated, agreed?

Yes, my answer was too generic By the way all of the Batch 1 and Batch 2 token holders do rent out their spare tokens. Even though for the lowest possible rate only at the moment.
