To clarify - it is not safe to forge with the online wallet, correct?
Correct How do I lease the balance out so I can forge safely? When I click account balance (more info) ---> account leasing ----> lease your balance to another account, it does nothing.

Don't know if leasing is set up yet. You can easily just install your own node and forge - takes a few minutes to do.

Yet you are in the thread of the very same project which you are implying will be worthless. So sad that you can't even see how that makes no sense. The funny thing is that you believe your tactics will somehow scare people into selling to you at a knockdown price when everyone can see right through you. If you had any common sense you would stop embarrassing yourself this way. You're comments are quite funny though in an entertaining way - reminds me a bit of Dolores.

Should add 100,000,000 for the circulating supply, since there are none that will be mined over time. Then they can calculate marketcap.

If you had any common sense you would stop embarrassing yourself this way. again your making yourself look stupid, ive not said xel is worthless why would i buy something worthless dude are you high or what, who the fuck buys something worthless. i came across a wallet which had 36million coins. i knew about someone owning 6million thats it, was told its distribution address. its not like its been labelled somewhere that it was anyone would question it, you come out guarding your gold pot like i found exploit in the code or something. i still say it now two accounts have over 11 million coins unless they are devs im not expecting a dump. if not 100% its dumping im waiting for that no way in hell im buying a coin with a cap of $63million on OTC. ofcourse if your holding long term go ahead as it wont matter but people are up more than 20 times. you need balls of steel to hold. so is it gonna dump fuck yea. not said anything about the coin being worthless. as far as golem is concerned that shit pumped like mad it shouldn't be where it is. until this lists on a big exchange if it even does not expecting it to do alot as its a whales market. crypto is not moving based on demand but more of a speculative play except a bunch of coins that have real demand. xel is good coin but it is gonna dump hard from where the cap is now that is 100%. id sell now buy back in again to increase my holding. once whales enter then we can enjoy. in the mean time wait for cheap coins just my advice. this is my opinion if you don't agree buy if i miss out i miss out all good plenty coins out there to make money of as most not interested in tech they want money.

Correct why it's not safe? BEcause t generate blocks, the client needs to know your passphrase - because every block you generate will need to be signed (on the node which you use for forging). If you use a local node, this is safe! If you use a remote node, you must trust it not to log your passphrase and empty your wallet at some point in the future.

To clarify - it is not safe to forge with the online wallet, correct?
Correct why it's not safe? Because any remote wallet is hosted by "someone" and you should not trust it. 1. http://wallet.elasticexplorer.org/ is hosted by me. I secured this node as much as I could, but I can't promise you that this node is 100% secure. 2. https://wallet.elastic.pw/index.html is hosted by @byrallier. I don't know anything about this node. I can safely assume that if you're using Windows and you know that there is no exploits/viruses/trojans/malware on your machine it's always better to use our Windows binaries ( https://talk.elasticexplorer.org/t/windows-wallet-release-3-1-0/546) than some online wallet.

Hi All, Im a Noobie to BitcoinTalk (and sort of for cryptos in general) so apologies if am not commenting in the correct way (by clicking on "QUOTE" of most recent). Just wanted to say that I am really excited for this project... I got into CRYPTOS quite late (mid 2016) and haven't looked back. I started with a 100% allocation to BTC but have been diversifying into various alts along the way (attempting to increase my BTC holding). This project seems different, its a definite HODLER for me. I have done the most research on this project than I have to date so far on any other. I'm balls-deep to say the least. That is how much faith I have in the team! Great story behind the project. It's probably (definitely) a bad idea to have my asset allocation this way, but fuck, YOLO hey! I risked my nuts on the dodgy ass looking heat exchange and I was punching the sky when I transferred my XEL holding into my elastic wallet ,which would be chicken feed size compared to most of the whales frolicking in this thread lol... This is purely a feel good post to all the hardworking devs and people that believed in the project before I even knew about it. RESPECT! Goodluck to everyone involved. Fuck the haters

Please do not mind my newbie question
btw loving this new Token and cannot wait for it to come to the exchange.
but Golem price is $0.60, and Elastic price als0 0.60
Golem Supply is 829 million and Elastic Supply is 100 million.
It does not seem right, too expensive for a beginner coin. I know my math is not right or something I am not considering.
Anyone mind explaining ?

When you look at the valuation of a project the price of each coin is meaningless. You must look at the total market cap (total worth). The fact that one project has x coins and the other y does not matter at all. Remember that each coin can also be divided into small bits and used as a fraction. It is true that the market cap of Golem is much much higher at the moment and indeed that is not right - Elastic deserves a much higher cap as it is the better between the two. Saying that Elastic is a beginner coin is also wrong - the project actually started before Golem and is in a better progression development wise. conclusion - Elastic is cheap at the moment and will appreciate vastly in value compared to Golem (a similar project in the same field).

What's forging and what happens if I do this? Will I get more Elastic? And when will there be masternodes? I'm Newbie, sorry!
|
Note* I write about projects that can do something for society. Now whether this will happen depends not on me, but on the project team. I'm just a writer... DYOR

XEL is a more mature project and better design
I couldn't help but notice a spike in tx volume. Have we been listed on an exchange or something?
