Chinese pools started signaling BIP91 today in order to get SegWit locked in as soon as possible. You can see results at https://www.xbt.eu/. Will SlushPool join in signaling BIP91?

Is that the reason my Slush reward has gone stagnant for nearly 2 days?   I've been stuck at 50% to payout for two days...   and I've never seen such poor luck!?

I do not think luck has anything to do with that. Slushpool is just not changing settings or something, i saw article on coindesk saying that all now most of the pools are  pointed to bip91 and slushpool which is 5% of hash network might join them soon.
Well after 5-7 blockes mined on daily basis and went down to 1-2 a day and there is no information from slushpool, Im just burning electricity for nothing. Im thinking of switching to other pool it will be that way for one more day without any announcement from official

Hmm, I'm going to wait another 6 to 8 hrs. We've had 12+ hr blocks before. Also I hope Slush switches to BIP91 soon!

here is that article btw..  http://www.coindesk.com/bip91-begins-bitcoins-miners-signal-segwit2x-scaling-proposal-early/

"As of today, about 43% of bitcoin's mining power is signaling for the change, including AntPool, BitClub, Bixin, BTC.com and BitFury – and other mining pools may be on the way. Slush Pool, which oversees about 5% of the hashrate, said that it will soon signal as well."

slush pool said it will soon signal as well.....i cant find anywhere where slushpool would say that

Maintenance
The pool site is currently in maintenance mode.

Mining is NOT affected
(It runs on completely different servers)

Interesting, so this means we get SW signalling now?

Yes Slush is signalling SW now.

Now? Where have you seen it was not the case before?

They are still not signaling BIP91 and it's a huge concern!

I think previous to that I saw mainly BU blocks being mined by Slush. Yeah I guess no BIP91 blocks yet. Either he is waiting for that mysterious bug in the btc1 client to be resolved or the pool (ie Slush himself) does not support BIP91 just the original SegWit alone. In other words he does not support SegWit2x. Slush allows users to vote, but he hasn't updated the voting structure yet so he's running multiple bitcoin daemons each with a different "vote".

https://slushpool.com/stats/?c=btc

45% of the hashing power of the pool is voting for Bitcoin Core - ie original SegWit.

Thanks for these informations.

I don't know either but it looks like BIP91 will lock in without Slush's help - sadly.

Sad to say that, but hope Slush (F2Pool and few others) will have a bad luck today, because if 19 blocks not signalling BIP91 are found by the end of the day - it will not lock in today.

I must say I'm a bit disappointed with Slush at the moment. On the other hand I really don't want to mine with any of the Chinese pools (no offense to those of you who are Chinese!)

There are plenty of non-Chinese pools...

Tis true, but I think Slush is the biggest of them all at this point. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also I love Slush's stats and web front end! (also monitoring and notification features).
