Again, while slush is a good pool compared to antpool, leaving out all the smaller pools with a lower fee than slush makes the results misleading.

Just reached my payout threshold, Slush gave me a payout transaction ID, yet when I click the transaction id it says "not found"

So where the hell is my bitcoin.

Here is the transaction id....  87652306ec238f14ccdc814dec79e3add6467055f48bce565f26e487d970c117
Give it a bit.......it will be there.

slush has been mining empty blocks for a VERY LONG time.
See here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1085800.msg11611896#msg11611896

Edit: every block change work you get from slush is an empty block, followed by normal block work a bit later.
Thus they find empty blocks every so often.

Kano, you should implement payout thresholds on your pool and some of us would come back

I'm holding you responsible for posting this url over and over again which is misleading.

I posted it twice, don't exaggerate things - "over and over" makes it sound like I spammed it everywhere I could. Although the link is not to your linking cause it does not include your pool it none the less proves a point about Antpool which is why I posted it. Yes it is misleading I am not going to argue against that.

Also, why don't you work towards better marketing your pool and improve the end user experience if you want to attract more hashing power? I'm almost 100% sure the author of that site did not include your pool because he/she likely does not even know your pool exists.

What I'm saying is that it is very easy for you to post on a forum and point out this and that, but if you would've spend some more time on improving your pool I don't see any reason why your pool should not be in the top 3. The way I see it Slush, Kano, and your pool are the only 3 pools that are actually friends of bitcoin. The "good guy" pools need to work on their marketing and end user experience if they want to compete with the mega Chinese pools.

Don't forget Eligius, Bitminter, Jonny's mining emporium, mmpool and p2pool. My pool is completely free so I don't see much point in pushing it, advertising it, or working on a fancy front end given that fact. If people see the merit in a free pool that's good for bitcoin, they will get on board regardless of the lack of fancy front end. However, most people sheep their way to mine with antpool and co.

Oh wow is Eligius still up and running? It's been a long time since I used to mine there.

The technically savvy among miners will get on board in spite of the lack of those features you mentioned, but the majority of miners like some decent stats page and other such niceties or dare I say "luxuries". It would be nice to attract some of these sheep miners. Sheep need to be guided so they don't wonder into the stomping grounds of the big bad wolf.

Send me a PM when you get a chance. If there is some help I can send your way to cover the costs of a nicer interface for the pool I'll see what I can do.

Hello. I just joined slush pool today. Is there away to see who solved each block? I'd like to be able to look up if I ever solved one with my miner. Thank you

Slushpool mines like antpool sad!

Sad! I have transactions that need verifying!

503,136   antPool     12.50000000 BTC
503,135   antPool     12.50000000 BTC

Yes, no transactions paid out to miners...completely stupid to mine there.

Hey, is this for real? I assume this is something new, as only antpool used to take the money from transactions. I was just planning to switch to Slush and if they do the same it will be very sad Sad

minus the fee, slush pays out the transaction fees...unlike antpoo which holds all of those transaction fees.

check a different block explorer if the one you are currently using says double spend tx

Others were making the same observation when checking status on blockchain.info while different block explorers showed otherwise
