What's wrong with the pool? There is less and less blocks found in previous day?

Is this a serious question?

I can not explain the statistics on the last day? ;-)

Last month the daily average was about 13 Blocks per day.

I worked for the pool since 1.5 months, help me to understand... Huh or no luck today in the mining pool ...
To put it simply, as network difficulty goes up, unless the pool hash rate also goes up, then blocks found will go down.  In other words, if the pool maintains ~100P base hash rate, then at the beginning of last month when the difficulty was 201,893,210,853 you would expect to find 9.964 blocks per day.  That same hash rate expects to find 8.339 blocks per day today.

Understand also that these are "expectations" based upon probability.  They aren't hard and fast numbers.  So it's entirely possible that the pool has both "lucky" and "unlucky" periods.  All pools are affected in the exact same way.  The more hash rate a pool has, the more this variance smooths out and gets you closer to expected values.

Hi usukan,
jonnybravo0311, Sierra8561 & wmabern provided very nice explanations why the luck & rewards are lower. Please read their responses above.

Hello,

I have a miner that quits hashing after a day or so. I have lowered the frequency on it. Are there any slushpool settings I can set to try to stabailize it?

Thanks

what kind of miner do you have ? can you add a screenshot of miner status page ?
and as far as I know the pool itself doesn't have any settings to stabilize miner settings

i have a missing hashrate from this pool, i'm pointing my miners to miningrigrentals and it points them to slush but yesterday i have zero hash rate on slush but on miningrigrentals hashes was present. i checked all backup pools and was not able to find where the hashes went. how is that possible?

i have not set what to mine in my account until recently could be this reason for missing hashes?

I had a hash rate discrepancy with MRR -- and quickly moved the machine -- and requested an early termination for the rental.

In my case it was one of my rigs I was renting out -- my dashboard showed full hash rate -- MRR showed that the renter was only receiving 2/3 hash.

In a discussion with MRR -- they were unable to identify the problem, since I addressed it AFTER moving the machine.

Never had a problem with that rig prior to, or since my MRR experience.

If your discrepancy is still existing, they might be able to pinpoint the problem for you.

my rig was not rented.

local stats shows 100% hashes.
MRR's stats shows 100% hashes.
slush stats shows 0% hashes.
all backup pools shows 0% hashes.

Hello Miners!
Some of you might have experienced issues with mining during the last weekend, particularly if you were connecting to EU servers. This was because one of our EU backend servers started to fail on hardware level. However, as it was still partially accepting connections, which would eventually fail, the machine was regarded as "running," and therefore our load balancer didn't detect this issue properly. Only if your connection request hit this particular failing server, you would have experienced occasional drops in EU connectivity.
The machine has been now been replaced by a new one.
We apologize for the issues and thank you for all the reports!
Happy Mining

Hi Subw,
if you still experience the issue may I kindly ask you to create a ticket for Slush Pool support on the link below? It is much better place for solving issues and answering your questions. Please do not forget to provide either your e-mail address or username registered at the pool. Thank you and have a nice rest of the day.
