For the first 24 hours, only the folks who have signed up for an account on our website before this email, would be allowed to place an order. After that anybody would be able to order.

I guess they changed their mind because there are/were no restrictions on ordering today, pre-existing account or not.

That's fine.  I imagine it would have been quite a clusterfuck for them, if they had tried to follow through with that decision.

It actually would have been quite easy to simply disable the ability to create an account at the time of the pre-order announcement until tomorrow.

Check your spam folders? Is your email correct?  I decided to spring on a K16 board via PayPal and received receipt email within a few seconds.  My status says processing also.

He paid in BTC.  I haven't gotten a confirmation either.  Maybe they're manually issuing them (for BTC) or there is an issue being sorted.

The order numbers started from 430. The order numbers do not increment by 1. I really don't know how this shopping cart software works, but we are using WooCommerce.

(list of order numbers moved to:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198489.msg2513488#msg2513488

to avoid spamming all these damn order numbers Smiley)

[the following is incorrect - see edit below]
The numbers say that the orders DO in fact increment by 1 (Orders 521 and 522.  Orders 530 and 531.), so I think TH mistook how their order numbering worked.  It's especially obvious when you consider these are just orders from people contributing to this thread.  Obviously all the number in between are orders too.   Understandable - No big deal to them, big deal only for us drooling customers.

They appear to have been correct in saying the first order number was 430 at least Smiley

[Edit: Actually WooCommerce generates semi-random orders numbers, so TH is right, I'm wrong!]

I didn't get one either guys, just a receipt from paypal, I wouldn't worry about this atm.  They may manually process confirmations, or only send emails once the order moves beyond processing...IE when they get chips.

I tried to place an order and pay through paypal, but paypal would not let me send the funds ( on the second order for the day ). I ended up creating 3 order numbers (2 failed paypal and 1 that went through on the bank transfer).    Just saying, I wasted 4 order numbers for 2 actual orders.

Hopefully some people will not pay for the orders they placed.

I had some similar issues.  Below are my order numbers:

514 - Cancelled
594 - Processing
633 - Cancelled
660 - Processing
687 - Cancelled
696 - Processing
787 - Processing

All paid with Paypal say processing.  Pretty pissed about losing my 514 order due to the automatic fraud protection kicking in on my card. Hopefully they sort by payment and not order number anyway.
