Did anyone publish any guide on how to stake a DeepOnion wallet with a Raspberry Pi, so that staking does not require you to leave your computer on?
You can leave the wallet running on a vps, the one I got costs less than a raspberry (after three years it would cost the same as the pi) and it doesn't use your internet or power. I personally won't recommend people using VPS ... Since you are leaving you wallet details / files on other server. So its not safe, but rest your choice  The chances of a VPS company. A reputable company, snooping for goodies on someone VPS is very low in my opinion. Why would such a company risk their business doing this? Either way though, you can password protect it I guess. The company itself wouldn't be the immediate threat. There are countless of people who socially engineer or just outright hack companies to get access to data. And if the data isn't very well encrypted you will be screwed. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

hey folks - i have tried to install the wallet in win 10 but it is still not working at all ;(( I can't register with the community forum until I have a wallet address either.
I downloaded the zip file from the website but when I click on the .exe file - the onion graphic appears and disappears on my desktop and there are no deeponion processes in my task manager.
Can ANYBODY help me please - this is doing my head in lol

Did you extract contents of zip file and than opened the .exe. Try running it as administrator and see if that helps. Try to download it again and see if that new download works. These are just some options that you can try, please reply if anything has worked so we can help you further if not. |

Ye so I downloaded it again, extracted to desktop, ran as admin and it did the exact same thing - onion flashes in centre of screen then disappears ;(( I have tried both windows clients as well. |

A VPS company won't have your password (if you crate a new one), so even if they get hacked, the hacker won't be able to decrypt the hard drive. |
