DEEPONION - NO ICO

Is there a post about how DeepVault works in terms of the files were stored on peoples computers and not on the blockchain. Basically, If the owner of the file makes changes, the other person that has a relationship with this contract owner, for example, need to trust him about keeping the integrity on the file. in other words, this a not a trustless system until now, right? There is a lot of information already in existence about DeepVault. I suggest that you go to the official forums to learn more, as there are plenty of videos and expert guides that will answer you questions to completion. I'll try to make a short stab at the question that you are posing, but I'll admit I'm a tad confused by your wording. Ultimately, if I were to make an important document with critical data stored to it, and uploaded that document to the DeepVault after a signature, etc. was placed on it I could later verify that none of the numbers were changed on that document later. There is no trust required as you have the block and time of the original upload on your 'receipt'. Again, I am making it simple and there are more in depth guides in their appropriate places. My post was just to warn people about something already in place within the DeepOnion system... when you create an address you get 100 subaddresses for "change". To over-simplify, by default when you spend DeepOnion you pay with your entire wallet and then are given back change into a new wallet to increase privacy. Due to airdrop rules about holding onto your coins, you are encouraged to use coin-control features (detailed in the link I posted) to ensure you are within compliance. This is not an issue if you are not part of the airdrop.

Just gave it a read and as expected when I read your articles it's always a good one. I'm also pretty optimistic about DeepOnion, I have a really really good feeling about it. The dev work has been on point and the community around it just doesn't stop

Files Autheticity Guaranteed by DeepVault Use Di1zov5J1vqLoQ9VG4xLRKjU5Z7inPxn8A to verify. I downloaded one image and verified it. Very cool! [/quote] So does this thing work something like Estonian Electronic signature ? I don't know if you guys have heard about it but we have had it for years - it's pretty cool and makes life so much simpler if you need to sign something and you live another side of the globe. https://www.id.ee/?lang=en&id=31008

Hmmm I am alwasy sceptical about somethign being free...it loses it's value if it is free
There are so many people who just dumps the coins after the 1st airdrop just because they see easy money as you may be aware of the new e-Coins such as (eBTC, eLTC etc.) they doesn't have a real product whereas DeepOnion has many features (e.g. DeepVault, I'm too bored to name them ) but one of the most important factors is the community if you look on the forum you will see why we (at least me) believe in this coin and why it's price will grow to the sky.

I really don't understand those people. Although I have to thank them because I was able to buy some ONIONs dirt cheap in the first days of DeepOnion trading on Novaexchange. But I'm sure they are sorry now when they see how much is DeepOnion actually worth and the fact that is is a long term project like Monero or Dash so the price can only grow with time. Just like I said on the official forum, DeepOnion will return back to 3 or 4 USD before new year and till the end of 2018 it will reach 10 or maybe even 20 USD. I just hope developers will not get tired because they are working really hard right now. They present new features every month or few weeks and I hope they will be able to keep up with this tempo also after the last airdrop in April.

I totally agree with your post, I just want to commend the devs for making a rule that is beneficial for all of us here. This is free but we are doing our best to support the project, I know as much as we are thankful to the dev they are also thankful to us because we keep supporting deeponion which makes it more popular now. They are transparent with their road map and in fact they are following it so it makes us more happy and excited holding our onions.

Yep, very big number of new first round airdrop dumpers. But that is good for us who belive in deeponion project. They fast gone and only us who build comunity will stay here.

Great that the next important milestone from the roadmap has been successfully achieved. Now, more and more successes are ahead. What will be the next one, maybe a new exchange which will deserve our sweet and precious Onions? To the exchanges topic - saw some complaints about Nova that the order book is sometimes not visible. Happened to me as well, but just for a short time, maybe depends also on the browser. Otherwise, no issues with Nova, but I would not use it for bigger trades anyway, much safer to split them and send only smaller amounts there. Just a question, is there any way how to customize the layout on Nova? Especially to set our favourite BTC/ONION market directly to the Nova homepage?

My wallet has a weight of 40k. Yesterday it staked twice 1.62 and 1.93 Onions. But this happened after 16 days of staking. Also 2.57,1.44 and 1.43 Onions were staked but not accepted. What I dont understand is how often does this happen? Staked but not accepted? I thought it was a rare occurrence, isn't it? You need to split your weight into blocks of smaller chunks. Please go the the deeponion.org forum and then send your own address your onions using coin control features. Make sure that you have smaller chunks to get better chance of staking. Good luck I remember seeing a video about this. Do you happen to have the link? I've been meaning to try these things, but always put it for a later time due to fear. It would be great to see where that link is, in order to know how to divide the ONIONS in chunks and be able to stake in a more productive way? . https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-wallet-block-splitting-combining-for-staking.189/That's the link. There other video tutorials too that you can see when you will visit the official DeepOnion forum. Good luck to your staking. I do this and stake every a few onion every few days Have all blocks into roughly 250 and it stakes a lot faster than if it were all in one big chunk. Eventually the chunk would break anyway.. but if you rarely miss a stake.. your screwed! Do remember to combine your blocks again after you stake though otherwise you will get less and less per stake.

Yeah, I've been recommended smaller block sizes to people for this exact reason - good post. If you loose a stake due to someone else getting it faster, it can be salty. That said, and just to add a bit of clarity - you get less per stake, its proportionate to your block size. You get more stakes with the smaller blocks. You're post is correct, just adding a bit of clarity for the newbies.

Hello everyone,Now it's very hard to come to bitcointalk in China, but can not stop me because there's my favorite deeponion russia is beginning to prepare bans in the field of cryptocurrency too, but i think that common sense must win over time. Things like these, will surely happen. Countries will ban crypto-currency. But it will never be permanent. Why? Because, countries, governments, ban things that are not under their rules and regulations. These governments wants that they have, or are still in control of all situations or happenings inside their territories. Like, what you said, that Russia is planning to ban. They will just put some rules and policy about crypto-currency trading. Once they have implemented and xchanges follows. The leaders of these government, can sleep peacefully knowing that their nation, follows their rules and regulations. So, do not be afraid or troubled on things such as these.

Fudders are becoming less and less on these threads. Deep Onion is becoming a legitmate threat to all these fake cryptocurrencies out there. Deep Vault is just the first step.

Kinda hard for them to fud much when we're actually putting our money where our mouths are. This isn't the first wallet update, and it most certainly wont be the last. We've got some big things coming down the pipes.
