almost sure they will change the registration date rule again in the future as they did once moving the registration date from July 12. to September 1.
so don't hesitate and join now!
You can't get Onions from airdrop now but there are several ways you can get them. Such as writing articles, making videos, graphic contents participating in the contests & etc.
Just be active there and on DeepOnion forum and I am sure you will be rewarded by the sweet airdrop in the future.

So i got skipped again for this week's airdrop b/c it says that I had only 6 posts?  I look through my post history and i have more than 10....is there some kind of error? I wonder why i'm being excluded?

Well, it's supposed to be ten quality posts. But if you're aiming for the bare minimum just to meet ten post, what are the chances that they're all quality posts, two, how bad does your effort look putting in the effort to post so little. Another is that you missed 4 days in a row. That seems like a lot. With how hard it is to join this air drop, it's just not coming off across as quality.

Please be sure you save the conf file like DeepOnion.conf and you leave the wallet open until the sync process start. Many people do those mistakes!

If you still can't sync your wallet, please let me know.

I think it was because of burst posting.  I can see most of your latest posts were within a short interval and this is called burst posting.

Yep I think this is the idea, don't give up as we are still less than halfway through the drops. Plenty of time to get involved and I think it builds the community much better if people have something invested.

Change XXXXXX in your signature to 1098387, which is your bitcoin ID (on checking your profile).  Also, do not use exchange address.  Use instead software wallet address (& do not delete wallet.dat file from folder %appdat%/DeepOnion folder after that)

I was specifically talking about last week, since I didn't read all your posts. Last week was not a good week because of the things I stated. If you were excluded the week before, and reinstating you depends on the mods, seeing how careful they are about having quality posters, I just couldn't see you getting reinstated with such a week. Especially having such a large gap between posts, and only ten posts, even if you had more at other times. If it sounds as if I'm being blunt, it's because what good would it do you if I just go, "Don't worry, you'll be fine for next week. Keep your head up." It's not showing the effort that people waiting five weeks to be reinstated are showing.

Burst Posting is make many posts in a short period of time, like if you only need 4 posts to complete your weekly posts and you do that fast only to "try" to be accepted.
Development Team will take that like you are spamming and not really doing a good representation of DeepOnion.


Your address will be the same if you did a backup from your old wallet.

Use the official wallet on our website - http://deeponion.org - the worse thing you could do is rely on an exchange. For one, you just never want to leave any substantial amount on an exchange for any prolonged period of time, and secondly, if the exchange moves the coins to cold storage, your address would change - thus giving the illusion that you had moved more than 10% of your balance.

Simply download the official wallet, and enjoy. Plus, you can't stake on an exchange.
