What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?

In my own point of view people hold there bitcoins because they are waiting to it's price to be expensive or to increase in the future because sometimes the price is low so it's better to hold your bitcoin and wait to it's price to increase. And if it's price increase you can now able to sell it.

Secondly, not everyone holds his bitcoins forbtge short term purposes but long term and so while I'm still with good profits I will keep holding until after August to see how things will turn out first.

Obviously yes.We have keep our bitcoin after August to get huge profit. No doubt in that. I am also holding my bitcoin for the same reason. We can keep our bitcoin for long term to get good returns from that.Long term holders are cleverest person. They know the truth.

I don't see the price of bitcoin increasing, so much as the value of fiat, and the financial "ponzi", decreasing. A by product of that is BTC value increases.

basic economics principle says like that , the more demand then something could be more valueable. and considering the supply of bitcoin itself are fixed on number of 21 million. i think we can say it safe to put a little bit faith in bitcoin and take a risk on the coming event about the 1 august fork.

Agree with your opinion. Nobody invest Bitcoin short term, it likes killing yourselves. They are holding Bitcoin because they believe Bitcoin will get for the high income in the future. It means the price will continuously increase stronger time by time. Next, Bitcoin is very hard to lose its price. And they have a strong belief in that.

They are holding bitcoin for one simple reason : the price's rising with time. The Bitcoin price is expected to increase and going to moon within few years most likely, and it will be the best opportunity for the holders to create wealths this way.

Most of the individuals in this industry, they hold bitcoin to get profit, which is not supposed to be the main reason either. Their mindset must be that Bitcoin has a better future, it has a lot of potentials when it comes for benefits and features of bitcoin.

For the past few months Bitcoin is profitable.And it is tested and proven because it was stated at their qoutes and reply.Even me I witness my sister become rich because of bitcoin.So even bitcoin now is in critical conditioin.Bitcoiners still hoping for the benifits to be done.We bitcoiners have no regrets because bitcoin is our big hope for the future that is why people until now they are holding bitcoin.
