What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?

Bitcoin holders have already seen such price rises and dips many times before.They are well aware that each time bitcoin price increases followed by a price fall,still bitcoin price would get stable only at a price higher than its previous price.They have seen bitcoin price gradually increasing in a long term basis and so they don't want to bother any price fluctuations in short term and they feel much comfortable in holding bitcoins instead of selling in panic as newbies do.

Yes all users make one target if the price reaches that target they will sell. This is the strategy everyone is making. Now the price is increasing but doesn't know when it is going to dump. If you keep watching the price and one day if you missed to watch and the price drop you will lose money. So i am following that method the price is on the way to my target when it crosses i will sell my coins.

Bitcoin prices are always up and down. We can not easily predict.

If i were you, i will be smart in managing my bitcoins because if i will just be idle and just keep my bitcoin and if i will not play my bitcoins in the market then the chance of getting rich fast is low, if you will play it like buying it cheap and selling it for an expensive price is a smart or wise decision because you can easily make money and you can buy more amount of bitcoin if its value goes down again.

People are holding bitcoins for simple reason vecause they believe on bitcoins future. Many people believe those speculations saying btc prive would reach up to hundred thousand bucks in the future and as you can see how btv moves lately think that wont be impossible to happen though. Personally I had been tempted to convert my btc many times specially before aug 1 when btc price start falling but good for me I hold them all now price pump so fast everyday.

I think some people are investing in bitcoin for the long-term. They probably expect its value to increase very much in the next 5-10 years and are holding it as a form as long-term investment.

Agree that is the main reason why more users are holding bitcoin, but for me i just want to sell my bitcoin if i see good profit already at the current value of bitcoin even it will increase more i do not regret on that since i already gain a profit then i just waiting again for the dump of value while i am continue collecting bitcoin in myultiple source of bitcoin.

It good you're still collecting some bitcoin through a multiple source and I knew you're in this game before but I will advice you not to sale your bitcoin if you don't need the money for an urgent situation because I did the samething last year selling off 80% of my coin and now regretting taking such steps. Besides,  halving is around the corner and the more bitcoin you hold the higher  your profit.

Obviously, bitcoins have secure future and will soon be treated as an international currency. Those who have given up on their bitcoins during the dumping phase must be regretting there silly decisions. We all know the jumping and pumping are essential in Crypto trading and are the essence of Crypto market. So I don't find any reason of giving up on coins such as Bitcoins which are the rulers of Crypto Kingdom during the dumping period.

Indeed, majority is treating Bitcoin as long term investment to have a safe and secure future. Bitcoin can have them making their dreams come true. The tremendous increase in the prices of Bitcoins over last couple of years has made masses believe and treat Bitcoins as long term investment. Exactly, and that's also my reason for holding bitcoin, I do not really like trading, I just buy and hold bitcoin for some time (at least 6 months) then will be selling as it can profit.

they hold bitcoin for long term even you can see the price is already higher there still a lot of room for the price to get even higher

This is probably the main reason, the price of bitcoin is very high but we all hope the price of bitcoin is going to be even higher so when you take that into account it does not make much sense to sell our bitcoin at the current price when we can sell for an even higher price in the future.

People have many reason why they are holding bitcoins maybe they are waiting for a higher value of bitcoin before they sell it and maybe they are planning to save it for the future of their kids or for their future or maybe they want to buy something expensive so they are earning lots of btc before they sell it

Personally I’m holding bitcoin not only for the chance they get more valuable in the future, but because I think in the future a great deal of the economy is going to move in bitcoins, so I’m preparing for that day, also I think that if an economic crisis comes to happen like the one in the 2007 I think bitcoin could be  a way to save yourself a lot of trouble, so that is another great feature of bitcoin.

I was admire on what you said sir, maybe I just follow on your steps. For now I have only a little count of bitcoin on my wallets. But because of your speculation regarding to the future I think I opened my eyes on the reality of life. I think it is the time to save a lot of bitcoin for my future.

Very simple, people are holding bitcoins because they want to wait for the right time to have more profit. Yes for longterm investment! just like gold bitcoin will be hard to mine 21million cap will be hit.. price will surely go high as the demand goes high also. That is why it a good hold/longterm investment.

I think the best thing to do whent he price is low is to hold, but when price is high you can make a profit by selling and then buy back in when the price drops again. This is the most intelligent thing to do for trading Bitcoin/altcoins.
