If you know price of Bitcoin 3 months ago and saw the price of now then you can understand how increase Bitcoin price in day by day that's why people holding Bitcoin and when it's price is so high then sell by a better profit.
I think not only 3 months but 2 years ago also, I see bitcoin prices go up 200%. I'm sad because I didn't keep so many bitcoins at the time i remember that in 2 years ago, bitcoin price is around $200-$500 and i am disappointed too that i am not buy. if i buy at least 1 bitcoin, i am sure that i can make big profit. but i think its not too late to earn more bitcoin now because the price will be increase and now will reach $5000 and even more. i hope later i can collect more bitcoin so when the price is high, i can sell to make profit  |

I love bitcoin.well i think investor hold it fro a very simple reason because of the possibilities on how high it can go More people should look into this. Buy 1 bitcoin or whatever you can afford. Its been going up since the day it was created and will continue to do so far into the future. |

It is just simple. Bitcoin users tend to hold into their bitcoin because by simply holding and saving your bitcoin you can already gain your profit that you can get ftom your initial bitcoin earning you have. Actually holding into bitcoin makes many benefits that people are attracted that makes them to be encourage and continuosly get engage into bitcoin cryptocurrency. Bitcoin's fast price hike make people to hold into their bitcoin because they are expecting of much larger opportunities and benefits it can provide. |

Holding is safer than to invest it, but if you invest some of your bitcoin and invest it in the right path we can earn more bitcoin, we cannot grow if we can't do something else to earn more. but if you really wanted to be safe, better to save it than sorry. |

every one is in greed to be rich and wants to double or triple his or her investment. i think the reason is simple that every one want its price to shoot up like hell and they are just waiting for good time to sell their bitcoin and gain as much as they can from it and bitcoin is also promiving as we see its growth in last 2 to 3 months Lol. You're so funny, you know? But I won't say we're all greedy just because we're all looking for a means, time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to for us to escape poverty/have a promising future investment and bitcoin holds that power. |

People like me more tend to hold because we believed that even the price of bitcoin is not stable and its fall right now time will come that it will be pump. Holding bitcoin for a long time was always worth it. It was proven already thats why we are still holding for it. I can say that even though the price of bitcoin is unstable, sometimes it really gets low and sometimes it gets really high. People are willing to hold their coins because they are waiting for bitcoin price to pump. Everyone believes that time will come the price will rise up and the bitcoin users will benefit from it. |

I guess some of us just don't trust banks and governments anymore and Bitcoin and its math seems a pretty good alternative to all these official liars that rob you smiling and saying that they do it for your safety.
This is one of main reasons to be in bitcoin, banks are too powerful and they can get away with anything since they can buy anyone they want so the only way to counter them is to have our own currency that they cannot print at will and that is bitcoin. |

In my personal opinion, people hold bitcoin because of its volatility. We know that the bitcoin price is not stable, sometimes the price high and sometimes it is low. And that is the reason why people holding there bitcoin, hoping to rise the price to its higher value before they exchange or convert it to physical money. |

This is because they know that it will recover soon. As whatthey obseved they fall and then recover very fast, they are professional in this business, so even they are panicking they choose to hold and wait the right time for the right price. We can't avoid to lose some money, this is part of our success, so even we hold some bitcoin there's a unexpected situation that we can't avoid, sell some bitcoin and the rest save for the future purpose. |

Obviously they are waiting until they need the money. Since bitcoin is still rising, it is clear that some investors are still waiting for it to rise higher. And because this will continue on, the only reason they will cash it out is when they need the money.

You are probably talking about the "split" that could have happened at August, The only reason people didn't sell is because they made a "smart" judgement that a split is unlikely and in the most remote possibility, wouldn't impact holders that much if the overall coin value didn't drop (for all the new coins that could have risen).
