Because they will predict that bitcoin is going to be rise at the end of the month or they hold bitcoins because they are so very trifty. Its better to hold bitcoin in your wallet than investing it in bank.
it's true, holding Bitcoin it was very good of the invest in the bank or site invest. holding Bitcoin now and sell if price Bitcoin is good. |

Bitcoin is steadily climbing up. If all forecasts and tendencies have keep the same, then $3,000 is not the limit. Compared to stocks tt's investment with amazing profit within short period of time.

What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
I think the reason why they are still holding their bitcoins is they waiting for the increase value of bitcoin. We all know that bitcoins has the higher value than other crytocurrency and it is still increasing. But sometimes bitcoins is not always in a high value. Well, most of the reason someone does the holding because it wants to increase the value of bitcoin or it could be said that like to get huge profits (investment). actually this can be said to be an investment, because it has been very clear that they make a purchase, and then doing something that can give you a price increase is much higher and better. But it is indeed an advantage can be obtained only with hard work and patience I personally hold bitcoin just in order to be rich in near future around 2021-2024 years. No more reason for me, I don't even like bitcoin but I want to benefit from it. |

Then after that altcoin price will increase  . An ideal example of why you should stick and buy BTC. July 16 price of BTC = 1860 $, a week later the price of 800 USD higher . Behind a few years the price should be 2x higher. BTC is a good investment. |

to me i think most of the people are holding bitcoin for making profit. i think in present time in most of the places people do not have the opportunity to use bitcoin as currency therefore they are using it as investment and for trading purposes because of the big fluctuation of the price of bitcoin. |

At this time (the incoming segwit) people holding their bitcoin because of chances of profit. They stand on their own prediction that bitcoin will pump and become popular after the august 1. I think it is because on what they observed in the market of bitcoin it slowly become popular to the people and this could be the reason why bitcoin need to upgrade.
It is obvious that its all about the bitcoin price, chances of getting profit after august 1 if the result is good.

Yes bitcoin has a greates proposal among all. If we continue to hold this and earn it, it is good and nice way to be ready ourselves in the futute and have an investment for it. It is quite obvious that people keep the bitcoins because they believe in his future. I also believe that the price of bitcoin in a few years will increase dramatically. The profit from the growth of the exchange rate will be much higher from that if we put the same amount in the bank

I'm sure there are many reasons why people hold Bitcoin. Some are logical, like hedging against fiat currency collapsing, wanting to learn about cryptocurrency, or wanting to be independent of government and banks. Others are speculative, like holding it on the assumption that it will increase in value when it may not.

People are always aware of that price drop but it really doesnt matter as long as their are holding their nitcoins they gonna lose either make a profit into it most of all once they hold their bitcoins they believe that bitcoin price will be up to $,300 dollars even august 1 is comming they prefer to trade it than to exchange it into fiat currency

In the drop of bitcoin a lot of holders just sell there bitcoin but other dont want to be like that they can sell there bitcoin in a dump price in the market because they will not earn any profit in that situation so they will just hold and wait until the second time pump. |
