people are holding bitcoin even the split issue bitcoin altcoin fall down but people holding and holding the bitcoin because people are believe bitcoin value go up again and continue pumping holding of bitcoin is an investment.

What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
I think the reason why people tend to hold into their bitcoin is due to the reason that bitcoin's price value is continuously fluctuating leading to more possibility to earn or gain more than the usual money you have. In addition to that, people are still believing of bitcoin's capability to pump despite of the continuous dump happening a couple of weeks ago. They are still waiting and expecting that after these dumps, pump will happen to regain the lost by selling their bitcoins in high price value for more income. |

For me I am still holding my bitcoin in my wallet because I don't really need a cash right now, That is the only reason why I am still holding besides who knows maybe the price would increase after all there might be a chance that it will be pump. |

They are holding Bitcoins because Bitcoin prices are going to rise soon According to the news and so most of them are waiting for that to happen and also the rise in prices are more then they fall According to my research. Therefore holding Bitcoins is the best option right now to make profits

Bitcoin are being hold by many people due to the reason that it can provide income to support financial needs and at the same time, people trust bitcoin to uphold their money because bitcoin is making it possible for the money to grow with its large price pump and also bitcoin is widely proven and trusted that is why people are still holding into bitcoin because of its benefits and being true. First we started to hold bitcoin to have extra income every month to do simple things. Then we discovered bitcoin can be used for more than this small income. We begin to hold it for the market value. That was my way. It was not only your path but also the path of many people who came to the crypto currency. Previously it seemed that bitcoin is a non-serious investment, and then you realize that investments in bitcoin can bring a very large income in a few years As people have began to understand the potential that bitcoin has, then it has become a lot more common for people to hold for long periods of time, at the beginning no one thought too much about bitcoin and people spent tens of thousands of coins in useless things but now even holding one bitcoin is becoming more difficult because the price keeps rising. |

Exactly. And this is the true essense of bitcoin, it's a limited supply that makes it rise in value. Look at 42coin for instance, only 42 coins exists. the price is well above 10.000 USD... |

Even i am holding a certain amount of bitcoin and im still purchasing some amounts untill now. I wont sell my bitcoin even if it gets below 1000$. Bitcoin is my part time as well as full time job. Ot has always given me profit and im sure it will give me so in future. I trust on bitcoin. Its price will surely hike up and then i will sell it in small amounts according to my needs.

You are right, my friend. This would be crazy to sell under $1,000. If the price ever goes to that point, buying is what smart people should do then. Even right now, when the price just slightly dropped, smart people are buying, and they are doing the right thing. |

It is possible that Bitcoin's value at the time they buy is higher so they do not want to sell because they are afraid of losing money. Or maybe they believe that Bitcoin will increase in the future so they hoard it for profit. Everybody has a plan of their own |

August 1, and I have not seen any sign of Bitcoin disappearing. So selling Bitcoin is a stupid thing at the present time, in contrast, they buy more BTCs. I think many people have the same thoughts with me |

Most of all here knows that even the bitcoin falls it always goes up in the future thats why people choose to hold their bitcoins instead to sell it. They choose to wait till the bitcoin soar it's price again because when it falls it recovers 2-3 times than it's price. That's why most of the owner of bitcoin hold it and wait for the right time to sell it to the market. But it will take a long time before the bitcoin recovers but it will surely recovers

They holding their bitcoin because their waiting for the price to go higher than the current price. Its like gambling. they believe bitcoin is going higher than expected. Beacause every time bitcoin drops the bitcoin goes up times two.

It's very simple, really. I think that for the most people bitcoin is life time investment. They are buying or collecting their btc funds with hope that btc price will continue to rise and reach even higher levels than now. If such scenario happens, many people will make nice profits with bitcoin. For the most people, it's worth to wait for something like this |

If I know I hold bitcoin and do not sell it in critical situations because I believe bitcoin is likely to rise again in price even though it is currently experiencing a very critical decline .. I not see the price of Bitcoin in current decreasing, maybe altcoin have it. Special in past days after the news Bitcoin Cash will distribuite for user holding Bitcoin in August 1st make the price of Bitcoin reach to $2900 again very fast. |
