For me, i hold and store bitcoins for some future uses like when im out of allowance or money, i can easily widraw bitcoin in fiat currecny also im using 3rd wallet site because it has many feature like prepaid load, game credits, paying bills, shopping online etc. Another reason i store bitcoin is its price thats has been increasing now, so tthats a good reason to store btc.
That is true we are all holding for the future because we believe itsprices will rise and elevate us into an elite class of rich people. I'm confident my savings wouldn't be fruitless and I think there are similar like minded people all over the world. most of the goals people hold, or investing in bitcoin are just for big claws. Although that is in a long time. but, I guess that's not something easy to hold the bitcoin we have. but, so many do, even a company. |

What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
I think why people holding their bitcoin because they are waiting the increase of value of bitcoins or inflation. From the word infaltion means is a sustaine increase to the general level of prices for goods and services then the value of dollars is increasing and the currency thats why they hold their bitcoin for future. And they hold their bitcoin for saving and for other expences. |

Because the value of bitcoin is rising. If it continues to rise, their money will multiply so easy. It's just a matter of patience. Holding bitcoin will make you rich. Bitcoin's popularity is rising these days that's why bitcoin's value is increasing too. Number of companies or businesses accepting bitcoin are increasing. Thus, people used that situation as an advantage.

The answer is so simple. All of us are holding bitcoins because we all know that the value of the bitcoin continuing to rise up and if we sell it in the future for sure we can earn big amount of profit. Holding bitcoin is really important. |

Yeah , this is a big truth in thr bitcoin market that people are making buying daily and holding in much amount that they can . The reason is simple . Most of the people who are in this field were not aware from such type of things but after the getting success in the increase in the price of the bitcoin , many people get attracted toward such things , because the main reason is that everything knows that price of the bitcoin will continuously in the future because of getting down in the supply rapidly . Well when i was wity the work of bitcoin then at that time its price was about 200-250$ and i was not thinking about this to get up because the main reason was of the understanding ( that i didn't have at that time ) but when it continuously get rise then i told about this thing to many people in my society and they also started to make investment . So this is the continuously increase in the price of the bitcoin that is making us greedy for the investment in bitcoin . |

I think a great reason for holding bitcoin now (even after the original fork on August 1) still comes down to some of the important economic elements of bitcoin.
Longer term investors who are familiar with bitcoin and its format are likely going to realize how it could be beneficial to hold bitcoin years into the future as the mining rate is decreased in a few years (2020) and as we continuously get closer to the overall cap (though that is still further down the road). The nice combination of a finite amount overall and getting there at a decreasing rate (less availability in the near term) – could get more returns and price appreciation.
Besides the two points you bring that will make the price of bitcoin to go higher the most important is demand, demand keeps increasing and since we cannot make the supply larger thanks to the limit imposed by satoshi then the only way for people to get bitcoin is to offer higher and higher prices. |

people hold bitcoins because there waiting for the price to go higher and then they sell them to get much profit and and use their money to buy the things they want but in my case I don't hold bitcoins for a longer time because I need to support my everyday needs and my weekly allowance for transportation and food. I just sell immediately whenever I received any amount of bitcoins in my wallet. |

I hate the fact that you said bitcoin could be an investment because bitcoin is totally an investment which the reason why people around the world, the billionaires etc. Stepping into bitcoin and if bitcoin is not an investment it won't have change the lifes of people. In addition, some of the world leader won't have decide to create their own national crypto currency/block chain through bitcoin inspiration. |

i think people are holding bitcoin is because they only want to sell bitcoin in high price although righ now the price is in high price but people only sell few amount of bitcoin. for people which buying in high price, they have 2 option, waiting for another high price or sell in lower price than they bought. but for me, i think its good enough to holding even if the price is down because i am sure that the price will be recover again.

People are holding bitcoin because it's a good investment and most of them are expecting that bitcoin will rise and reach $5000 at the end of this year. What more in the future? It's a good investe and expecting to continue grow.
Good investment and untraceable at the same time. Holding bitcoin for the long term and increasing the number of your bitcoin while holding it. I also hope for this year bitcoin will rise to $ 5000  and the more the year will increase the price increase. It will increase more than $5000. Earn and invest bitcoin as much as early. Why don’t you people try to increase your bitcoin rather than increasing your money. It will cross 5k no doubt in that but the time when you sell 1 bitcoin you should be smart enough to sell double or triple bitcoin. Until the price raises you must keep trading and try to make more bitcoin. And that will give you more profit when you sell them at the end of the year. And it will also keep your mind active.
Before selling all your bitcoins, make sure it grew your money invested. |
