Hallo!
I forget my password from Windows wallet.
How can I reset it?
You can't. For any QT wallet (and even any wallet afaik) there is no option to reset password, to have to write it down and keep it in a safe place.

I think he meant passphrase, and yes, passphare is required when your wallet is encrypted.

I think he meant passphrase, and yes, passphare is required when your wallet is encrypted.
So should I already have a passphrase? Or if I click to encrypt the wallet, it would then supply me with a passphrase?

If you already have coins in the wallet I recommend you backup this directory before doing anything. Just in case there's a bug or something.

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Signatum

EDIT: If you do get access to the wallet again backup your private keys:

Go to Help/Debug Window/Console and type: "dumpprivkey <address>" for each of your Signatum addresses. Copy the results and save in a secure place.

Did you upgrade to the newest qt wallet? Is that when the problem started? If so, try downgrading.

I'm not the one having issues. But thanks a lot for the reply. I was just inquiring about the passphrase and password for the Windows wallet because I don't have either of those that I can recall. I do have coin in wallet, but don't have it encrypted currently. I'd like to encrypt it, but I'm a noob and don't want to get locked out of my coins if I'm already suppose to know some password or passphrase

i've been watching the thread and saw the issue about cryptopia and wallets.

I was able to xfer out of cryptopia to my wallet but my wallet (on windows) isn't synching at all.

I left it running for the past ~50 hours and it simply doesn't want to sync at all. I added some nodes to the conf and as of now, the wallet states that i have 16 active connections.

Any suggestion(s) to fix this issue? i would like to see my deposit from cryptopia hit my wallet to be sure i have them.

thanks

wallet has been syncing perfectly fine, i believe this issue is directly related to cryptopia an only cryptopia transfers, ive easily moved thousands of coins from yobit, and from my mining pool to my wallet.
(fyi: just moved over 1200 coins from yobit and 100 coins from my pool just 20 minutes ago)

If you have connections then you are syncing. It can take a very long time if you haven't synced in a while.

Download the bootstrap, updated yesterday
https://github.com/signatumd/releases/blob/master/bootstrap
Use the latest wallet release may help to get faster sync also

Is it really only on Cryptopia where you buy signatum? There must be another exchange out there that can cater to Signatum. Hopefully the developer would be able to add more exchanges to the said coin. That way it would be easier for us select where we can conduct trade.

Missed out many many pages of info.

Hope some can help.

Do we need to download any new wallet software to keep this going?

My current wallet from day one is running without issue so far and transfer from Cryptopia also ok. Just checking do I need to update my wallet to the latest version. If I continue with the current wallet software (windows), any side effects?

Thanks

There is no need to download new wallets .

just update the Nodes if u face any connection issues .

And there will be no side effects if u keep on using the old one ..

Have a good day Smiley

bump.. get word out that CRYPTODEVIL operates a real ponzi scheme, or tries to anyway,, see above on his website for proof,...

no surprise to me, the REAL SCAMMERS are usually the ones yelling that everyone else is a scammer....if the idiot lived anywhere close I'd track him down and let my bot have a very friendly conversation face to face.....cant stand ignorant motherfuckers like him.

I find it funny how people are complaining about cryptopia, you should see whats happening with bitzure AKA Shitzure or Bitscam.
Bitzure is just a noob attempt to scam, he wasn't even patient enough to get more established to steal some substantial amounts Smiley Cryptopia is a well established and known exchange. I don't think you're comparing equal things here.

Probably another front for CryptoDevil.....he loves to SCAM

repeated wall of text eaten by mice

Are you gonna repeat this stuff few times on every page of this thread? Best way to get yourself banned IMHO. Just saying.

I dont know are you going to say the same thing to cryptodevil, who for 20 pages or more has repeated the same drivel over and over. I just outed a real scammer, someone who has set up a real ponzi scheme but goes around calling everyone in this community a scammer. how about thanks

I'll say thanks. We all knew he was the true piece of shit.....you just gave the proof.
