I also got these "emails", with the bonus amount 250$. I guess it's time say goodbye for "non-KYC user, these one mandatory before 1st January 2025. Could be these bonus only for user with still have wagering a couple months/weeks + depending on the VIP rank as well.

Lucky you still playing in Stake without being tempted to do KYC for double reward on tournament in Stake forum. I voluntarily completed my level 2 KYC last due to double rewards offer of Stake.

That 250$ bonus for KYC is really worth it since most of the casino ask KYC already promptly right after few withdrawals.

The level 2 reward is big and it looks like a trap or using it to lure gambling participants to submit their KYC because ordinary many would not but with that amount users would submit because they would like to receive the 250$ and use it to play games and if there luck with them that day, they will win big. Be careful with big bait.

Can you explain what you mean by trap regarding the level 2 reward? Are you saying that the $250 reward is intentionally large to encourage people to submit their KYC when they normally wouldn't? I guess this reward you mentioned is for those who are Platinum VIP. If you don't have enough wagers, they definitely won't give you  balance like this. I don't think stake.com will give free balance just for KYC, unless it would become a liability for the platform.

Reasonable if Stake offer different amount of bonus as it will be wasting money if they offer all users with the same amount ($250).
It seems that the offered amount is based on some criteria such as VIP rank and current wager statistic.
The higher rank and wager statistic may receive bigger offer because Stake wont let their big players to go easily just because of the mandatory KYC rule starting next year.
Inactive accounts may also receive email since the rule is applied to all users but again the offer might be different from one to another.

My rank is Platinum III. I guess, I will verify now cause getting 250$ . I want to make sure, these needed to be accepted before 2PM (UTC) on Monday 7th of October 2024 ? cause in the Email only with word (IF).

Honestly I am waiting for your statement because you are one of the users who refused KYC and now you have made your choice, but yeah about the word (IF) I think this is interesting, imagine in the next few days the stake team will check thousands of identity cards will they actually check it or just a few? or maybe there is another scenario for example, if the user has gone through KYC but has not been verified /in the queue then they are still eligible for the bonus.

By the way, for Bronze level the bonus is around $50 but I don't know if the game activity will affect the bonus at least 2 of my friends confirmed this, while non-VIP accounts will get $10 after KYC, I think they will ignore the $10.

I got a similar message as well when I checked the site. I also received the same emails and mostly ignored them because I thought it was only optional until they announced this.

I've also received the message and of course will have to follow the level 2 KYC since level 1 isn't enough and they're enforcing it until the end of this year.

If users who have not done KYC level 2 are required to verify immediately and then get a bonus, then what about those who have completed KYC level 2 a long time ago? have they also received a bonus? or does it only apply to those who have not done KYC? because it will be unfair if those who have done it for a long time do not receive any offers. Hmm, this is probably for the support to answer this. But don't you have any emails about any potential bonus since you have filled and complied to level 2 long time ago? If there's no bonus for them, it's stake's discretion not to give them and only incentivized it to the level 1 users so that everybody will comply.

Let it go to my account? In the statement being mentioned we can't use our account anymore in 2025. IMO, these could be the last warning or message regarding "KYC" with some reward. These could be the last reward they can offers.

Fair or not, you verified user got more bonus from level 2 account 20%. Meanwhile, non - KYC account not getting any bonus, you can multiply with around 2 years+.

I have deposited thousands of dollars and gambled, but not a single time I was asked for KYC. This was one of the reasons for which I have praised and promoted Stake wherever I can. Nevertheless, I think the golden days are gone. I have also received a mail to do the KYC before the end of the year. I was offered $50 as a bonus. I have to think again before completing the KYC, as the main motive for crypto gambling was to gamble anonymously. Stake broke my heart; it was my love. There is no such thing as "casino-anonymous" especially with the web2 website.

If you are not being requested "KYC" doesn't mean the casino is anonymous, it's not being needed at the time you are accessing but you still always getting requests at some time in the future. Never trust casinos that claims "anonymous", mostly in their term & conditions there always some words stated. Casino will have some right to ask you KYC in some case.

Anynomous or non KYC casino is only with smart contract casino site, but the game is limited mostly just dice on chain, guess character/number last hash or jackpot.

Stake has taken a policy that has certainly been considered for many things, including how customers like you respond. I would not think that Stake's golden age is over. I am sure this is related to better planning in the future.
of course, there will be customers who will leave Stake because they do not want to verify their accounts for whatever reason they have. but I believe there will be more who will still verify their accounts immediately. not because of the various bonuses given. of course, that amount is nothing compared to what has been deposited into Stake. but Stake's intention to take this step is certainly for better business purposes.

Stake is a huge brand, I doubt this is a trap and I don’t find any reason to view it that way since most of the casino requires KYC to every players while they doesn’t offer any bonus for your KYC compliance.

At least at Stake they incentivize you for completing while you will just do it too in the future since they are allowed to require an account to do KYC anytime they want. A 250$ reward is already a sweet deal considering that Stake is the number brand on casino industry.

My friend a PLAT IV user is playing from germany, without a vpn and has had not problems playing on Stake.
Now when he does his KYC, they will notice he is playing from germany, ban his account and he cant play anymore... and well, he will take his action and money elsewhere to play on a sportsbook where he is annonymous as Bitcoin was supposed to be...
I cant blame him and I will probably do the same, take my business elsewhere.

I guess so, I'm sure that there are still many players (even whales) who do not like to submit their personal document.
Of course I also believe that Stake is aware about this possibility so they must be ready to lose some players due to this new rule.

I don't think right now is about the user.

But, about the revenue is being generated. These can only be answered after 1 Jan 2025, and it's quite simple to see these changes. You just need to take a look on how much money they're sharing for each weekly claim. They shared the information that the amount of money is being shared on weekly claims, at this time they're in the range of 15-16M$. IMO, Stake.com is no longer focused on the user base line.

They already reached 50,000+ user online almost everyday. It's really really bigs for online casino, I don't think any other casino can competed in these number. If the number amount weekly share on 1 Jan 2025 under 15M$ meaning the change is effecting their revenue but if not under those number then nothings effected at all for the revenue.

Casinos never want to lose their players because they are losing potential profit making but it's all the regulations by the government so if casino has to operate without facing legal consequences then they need to comply whatever they have to answer it's also the government's responsibility to give the freedom of choosing what they wanted to do or else they will end up on a scam site and eventually lose their money.

True, I can prove this. I didn't get a bonus because I am a non-kyc and just recently complied to the level 2 and my verification is complete. So, to those that have been verified already prior to this, you're getting the bonus instead or if not, it's something to do with the wagers that you've done for the whole stay you guys did with stake. I don't know, that's just a speculation and maybe the recent users that just verified will have to wait for some sort of bonus.

Unless, other casino have the same business operation. Stake has been operating legally with specific side especially (US & UK) while most of these casino is really strictly, the force could be not coming from license.

Level 2 should be at least 30 mins, If more than 24 days just contact the live support. They will forwarded to push the verification, mine was waiting 24 hour and asking to the support. He response me with those statement, after those message my level 2 getting accepted.
