Quantum is a big risk to bitcoin. If I understand correctly no crypto today is quantum proof

100 years are many long term for bitcoin and lifes of people. In 100 years, it is hard to say what will happen and bitcoin will survive. But it is sure that there will be many coins in the future. They may be called as bitcoin or another name. There may be another coin that has higher value than bitcoin and then we may talk about that coin. Or bitcoin may continue rising and all world may talk about bitcoin. I guess there will be many coins like bitcoin in 100 years and people will spend their time on them not bitcoin.

I think yes, bitcoin can survive after 100 years. We all know that, many people used bitcoin, to buy their "needs" and "wants" in their life. And as long as the number of people using bitcoin is increasing, the possilibity that bitcoin can survive is increasing also. Bitcoin depends to people and vice versa.

I think bitcoin is stable now. Its prices although fluctuates, I think bitcoin is not going anywhere in next year's.  Talking about 100 years. Bitcoin has come with so much advantages that in next year's more and more people will connect to it.  And more and more uses of bitcoins will be start.  Bitcoin is the future of crypto currency.  Bitcoin will made online transactions easy.  Bitcoin is continously growing in price and in economy.  Bitcoin become an investment.  And bitcoin has changed the economy.  In future there may be modifications come which will favour more to us.  And economy will be increased.

for now bitcoins is at its peak having its value in a fluctuating manner but with a sense of a stable value. but for whats to come after a 100 years is uncertain, i personally think bitcoin will never be  able to survive that long but we'll never know for sure.

Users put forth advancements such as quantum to overcome bitcoin when the usage goes beyond limits. I too have the same thought, but quantum is not that easily implemented. So bitcoin serves for long, maybe it gets into it same as the ethereum or waves platform and then tends to grow. How about 100 years, I'm not sure about it. But it'll survive till my death.

I think Bitcoin and other coins will survive but survivng for 100 years does not mean that it will be valued. We may never know the price especially after 100 years. There could be a new technology that can replace bitcoin and fiat. It is also possible that everyone has accepted bitcoin or other coin as a payment (  if this happen a bitcoin will be worth millions).
