I think this new GPU miner will be launch in the market soon, do you think its worth to buy this. Considering it has no resale value in the future.

http://www.inno3d.com/products_detail.php?refid=338

PS: I am new to mining and need professional advice.

Thank you
Do you know the price of that?

they havent announce the price yet, but i think it will be cheaper since inno3d Gaming cards are bad for mining based on other user/miners experience.

Phil (and others using Nicehash).

Are you guys just running the Nicehash miner (2.0 or Legacy) and letting it pick your coins or are you pointing your own miner software to the mining pool?

Reason I am asking, I set up a miner on Nicehash 2.0.1.1 and benchmarked it (4x 1080ti).  It bounced between Lyra2v2 and Dagger but when I look at the calculator they have on line it is showing 1080ti's should be most profitable bouncing between Lbry and Keccek and Equihash?  Mine has been steady mining Lrya2v2 and Dagger?  When I look in the Benchmark section I don't even see Keccek Skunk or any of the other algo's 1080ti's are supposed to be good at?

1) Did I miss something on the setup?

2) Dagger?  on a 1080ti?

Thanks
Bones

i use my own choice of miner software and point it at nicehash. main reason is switching algos can cause the cards to be unstable unless you run very generic settings, ie no tuning for each algo. for example eth and xmr tune differently.

This looks like Pandaminer setup.

However I like the idea of the 9 x slot and PCI based compute controller.

Is this selling in Manila?

It was posted in some local miners group here in PH, and so far the feedback is bad due to inno3D warranty voiding when you use their card on mining. then suddenly they launch something like this. they are against mining using their cards.

I'd use that board but use better P106 from Zotac or MSI

The spacings are probably WAY tight to use ANY standard 1060 - that setup is specifically designed for passive cooling of the cards.

The eagle has landed.

ONDA D1800 BTC with integrated Celeron bare bones -- under 100 USD.

The seller is from taobao and usually Mandarin speaking so I have no head or tails on how to order.

[...]

3 x sata and 3 x 4-pin molex ..... how do to make this work .... with a 1200w HP server PSU, PICO and BB solution Huh

Wow! Hope that at least some of the BIOS is not in Mandarin Smiley

As for the 1200W server PSU with Pico... I think you going to need to wire up all of those extra molex connectors labeled as POUT# on the motherboard. Just by looking at the width of the copper traces on the board that lead to the connectors, I can tell they were planning on using those as power inputs, not power outputs (POUT?).

I will try the P106 first since they may work without additional power.

Lots of testing on this board.

I dont intend to mess with the BIOS, and just plug in the USB stick with smOS.... and see what comes up.

If this truly a BTC board - it should work out of the box like the Asrock H81.

I am very interested to hear how this rig works for you. It looks very compelling, especially at that price, provided that it works out of the box with minimal fuss or hackz. Smiley

Apparently Colorful is coming out with a similar motherboard, but it uses PCI-E connectors and does not include a CPU. --- http://www.guru3d.com/news_story/colorful_releases_motherboard_that_can_hold_eight_dual_slot_graphics_cards.html

the colorful  mobo looks very good.    takes 1 stick of ram and  the cpu is any 1151 which is good as I have 9 or 10 of them.

I also have multiple sticks of sodimm ram to put into them.  and gpus and psu's

I had to get one of my China contacts to help me get this out - pretty fast when dealt at local level.

I will try and set this up this week and I will be sending a unit to Phil too so that he could further detailed testing.

And yes.... there are 10 boards in that box  Grin

Look at the spacing in between slots - I should have measured it but you can see the CR battery and the msata to visualize the spread... no way for 1080tis unless reference model or put 3 instead 6 -- for the rest like 1070 and 1060/P106 I think it will be easy peasy.....

I got 4gb msata rams -- just enough for smOS Linux. you may need more for windows otherwise 4gb basic W10 should do too.

well well well... what have we here - a POWER/RESET BUTTON and its in front how convenient

This card is on Aliexpress with a reasonable markup

I have ordered 3 of these and hopefully I will be participating also in this built.

However I like the idea of the 9 x slot and PCI based compute controller.

Is this selling in Manila?

Similar Motherboard is available on Aliexpress with the same seller as the Onda motherboard, but the price is on the expensive side.

I have a faulty fan for a Power Color Red Devil rx470 ... I don't to go through the RMA.

Anyone know a 3rd party reseller ?

Thanks

im having the very same issue, but with a pny gtx 1060, sad thing is only less than 2 months old..

Mine is almost a year old ... Asked Power Color to buy a new one.

Short answer. NO, we don't do that as we don't have the pieces. (LOL ?)

Good luck with Power Color - in my experiences they have the worst customer service. I finally got my replacement for a card that went bad (it took over 3 months, they sent me a dud card first so I had to pay again to send to them. When I finally got a working replacement they downgraded my card. Leaving messages at their customer service number and on their "Power Color cares" form is a waste of time, and tech support said that's all they had in stock.

the nice for me is everything is paid for .  I can simply turn it off  and wait for that rush of sales to end.

Same.
I'm going to invest some of my late mining proceeds in an interesting ICO actually (see avatar and signature). All I can say is a good friend of mine has met the team personally and was impressed. The project they have is also based on an existing user base of 200'000 users, so it's not like you'd be bidding for air. Quite excited about this one.

Thanks for the feedback. I have only one card from them and it'll be the last one !

I will check for 3 party replacement. or just add an external fan.

I think this new GPU miner will be launch in the market soon, do you think its worth to buy this. Considering it has no resale value in the future.

PS: I am new to mining and need professional advice.

Thank you

This looks like Pandaminer setup.

However I like the idea of the 9 x slot and PCI based compute controller.

Is this selling in Manila?

Similar Motherboard is available on Aliexpress with the same seller as the Onda motherboard, but the price is on the expensive side.
