1Bitcoin as a gift from someone

As soon as this was a gift, I was not expecting to have it. Is is a good reason to keep it until it reaches for example $20.000.

If it is mine i will hold it till the price gets double or triple of its price now. Or just hold it as an asset.

If you would give someone an exact amount of 1 BTC it is sure a big thing because it's value is high. So technically you would give people an opportunity to buy something worth 3000$ that could possibly turn into a big value in the future. It is a good suggest to hold it until it's price become enough for you to have both 1 btc so you could also earn as a part of your gift.

I would keep it for a long time. Something like a year at least. But sadly that's not going to happen.

As far as it is a gift, I won't have to bear any loss even if there is any downfall in the price because in that case, I will have nothing to lose in my hand (through the eyes of an investor). On the other hand, I am optimistic about the future of Bitcoin and I would hold my Bitcoin for the long term and I will keep spending some part of it as I believe that movement is the growth. Considering my risk profile and such situation, I would say that I would definitely hodl my Bitcoin instead of selling it.

i think the best way is to divide them into two, 50% will go to your leisure/needs and the rest will go to your savings--you'll hold it instead of spending it.

although i really doubt that anyone in my peers will give me one as all of them is just your average people who's in between of rich and poor. and yah i don't have

rich friends. if my friends has 1 bitcoin, they would just probably keep it themselves

I wouldn't sell it nowadays buying bitcoin has become so hard and expensive so selling it right away and then buying later i would just save the funds and invest some in a gambling site or maybe just trade a few and remaining save it i will never sell my bitcoin before i reach my goal for any non important reasons

It's unfair to say that I'll hold it and wait for a better price. You must add a scenario for it because most of us here knows the value of bitcoin and keeps on increasing. If I'm a person that has less knowledge about bitcoin then I'll sell but if that was given to me and I have a little bit of knowledge about it, then I'll hold and keep it for better higher price.

It is such a lucky human being to get devoured by 1btc. Since it took a lot of different processes as staking or mining,and got a bit challenged by signature campaigns. That goes for the lucky one

What it is really sur is that i won't sell them or turn them in cash.
I will try to invest them in a signature compaign or a casino.

If I was given 1 bitcoin, I would immediately sell it and exchange it for cash. so I can use it to open a business. I will open a business that fits the money I have. even though the business I open is small, I am convinced with my sincerity and hard work I will make my business grow and one day it will be a great effort.

Am I dreaming! who would be that generous man/women giving me such amount. A 4500$ amount of bitcoin as a gift for me will be the most memorable day of my life, if it comes is a big question to be answered by that someone. In our currency that's approximately 200000 pesos, I will buy a car or "jeepney" immediately for ive been wanting to brought one for business purposes. I can be selfish sometimes and doing things without out planning or different from what have been planned.

wow .. get 1 BTC for free? I invest 50% and the rest I disbursed to buy a home for parents. Bitcoin price today is quite high, 1BTC can satisfy the thirst of someone. hopefully Bitcoin always triumphed and can improve the economy in this difficult time, where workers are replaced with robotic power and more efficient engine.

I know price of bitcoins now likely worth, but that is all depends how my situation now. For while may I've enough of money. so possibly I will keep them.   Believe me keep money or asset with bitcoin are good things.

I think holding it, investing is the best option to come to, but I think if I have some important matters to used for that bitcoin as a gift for me then I will used it but I will left maybe a half for it. Joining also in an ICO that has a potential that will grow in the crypto world then that is a good option also, the worst to that is if you gamble it online, it has a low chance that it will generate or maybe it will be gone in an instant if you're a greedy gambler.
