SCAM

This does not help. Exchanges get hacked, blackmailed for money, ddosed, flooded with unnecessary customer requests all day.

People complain about Fees all day.. wtf... Its better an exchange got high fees than if it exit scams or just isnt motivated to come back because their users ALWAYS complain anyways no matter what.

It was amazing to be part of Bitcointalk for a little while. Thankyou. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5316241.0

When I log in it always telling me check my email. Even though I follow the instructions still the same experience. The flatform is also confusing. I hope they hire someone who can make the exchanger user friendly

All wallets are down now. Yesterday website was showing at least wallets status as offline.
Today what we can see on main web page is:

An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full.

And not even single wallet listed here:
https://coinsmarkets.com/walletstatus.php

More backend server went offline than was yesterday, by the look of it.

If they are moving from old to new server , i thinks some information must have been moved to the new server.

I hope for the best. I think they are not scam. At least we can now see update on twitter.

Last chat message:

IMPORTANT: We do not deploy admins/devs on CoinsMarketsChats, please be aware of fake accounts spreading false information. Servers are currently being configured. Your coins are safe, you can check your BTC balance through the BlockChain Explorer.

But my trust will lost tonight if they will keep offline.

Hi,

For set-up new, believe me, they do not need more then 24 hours.
If they have database backup, they do not have any problem with new install.

They sent also on chat maybe data will be lost and coins maybe will lost.
What company is that?
Check website, what design they have... This website has devs children 15years old, no serious peoples.

I have a lot money from one week, and my mistake is they trust him.
I have a lot colx and colx team is he is guilty because he trusted a company like coinsmarkets.com!

OK, I am a total noob to this so I may have done this wrong but I copied the address that i sent my bitcoin to into the block chain explorer and that destination is still showing a balance and has had no movement since 3rd Jan.

So that says to me that it still has a chance of being there, as the wallets are offline I guess then Bitcoin explorer will be unable to access my destination so its hard to know if its there or not, I am guessing that as soon as that destination wallet shows a transaction out it will be registered somewhere.

As i say I am a complete noob to this so I may have got this all wrong so happy to be enlightened and education if that is the case.

BTC balance coming from trades won't be displayed on the Withdrawal/Deposit address in the blockchain, because it's not physically there.

On the other hand, If you're transferred BTC to your exchange address, it should stay there until being spent on trades.

Yep, thats what i have done its the address from my wallet INTO my coinsmarket wallet for trades and it is still showing a positive balance that hasnt had any activity at all since 3rd of January, so at this moment in time I am still hopeful that things are happening behind the scenes.
