Hello CoinsMarkets Admin,

I want to think that you are working to put online soon your site.

A rapid solution: The size of your landing page is 29,8MB (you can see it just saving the page and going to properties), too much for all web servers in the world. You have to reduce it.

I reduced the size of these save images: https://we.tl/sAzmCSaEww . Just 607KB and a little less resolution and more compresion. You can replace your images by these.

cm dev make 0.5 0.7 btc a day... it's an exchange and don't pay country tax.. so why run away with 500 600 btc if you can earn in 2 years and living free and manage the exchange in every paradise in the world?

and another fact the exchange growing fast with all masternode coins in this month.. so is stupid make an exit scam right now...

most of all exchange have had problem in this month.. mercatox, cex.io now kraken and they are more big than cm.. i think they need more time just becouse it's less big than other.. maybe it's only one person...

Maybe. But in reality our situation is not any better than it was before.

The owner apparently now knows that people are upset and has still hasn't given any kind of reasonable update or ETA. All he did was change the banner to to complain about people calling him a fraud.

That's not reassuring in any meaningful way.

For the future I advice get rid of those more then 800 requests for the homepage alone, with 400 requests for sending small image-jpegs. Compressing from these jpegs does just help a little because those are already compressed. They should put all those images in a sprite, so that 400 jpegs request become one bigger image with only one request, reducing a huge amount network traffic. With css you can point to the desired image. I see 100 request from phps also, why? Maybe use a concept like lazy loading, try to use code when you need it and load it dynamically and not all at once in the beginning with small files.

See F12 network tab in chrome you can see it yourself.

Its nice of all you uber-nerds to pass all the advice here after running the site in debugger mode and all.

For me its enough if  they just get the site up and running and leave the tweaking after. Limit registrations or whatever as a quick fix if nothing else.

Certainly you are all correct in that optimizing would make it easily 2x more responsive per server, but doubt cost vs income it is currently a big issue.

As for assurance from their message, it does give assurance that someone is alive and knows its a mess and something should be done. They have not completely thrown it all away and changed identities. Blaming your customers after hiding their millions of dollars worth of virtual coins for over a week with zero communication is just what you would expect after all this. Stupid it is..

1. No FUD in this group. We are people that try to help CM owner get CM back up again. *
2. Eddi one of our admins have made contact with the CM owner and he agrees to make a video briefing soon to calm people down. So please be patient.
3. Stop trying to log into coinsmarkets! The extra traffic is creating more problems to be fixed and slowing down the process.
4. As information comes in, it will be posted here, asking us to post it will not get you faster replies.
5. If you have any helpful suggestions then please share and it will be relayed by the community.

Hey - just curious - is anyone successful at the moment in actually logging into the site?  I get "socket error" half the time, and then when I'm 100% sure I'm putting in the right username and password and PIN I get "wrong login info" (sometimes), then when I try to retrieve my "lost password" I put in my email address - and get no email from them?

Just curious if anyone is having trouble logging into the site at all -  thanks...

I was getting root SQL error last time. Might wait for the end of the month. If no joy then, they've ran for it. People who think they have no access to your wallet should think again. It's the private keys which access the blockchain which they control. It doesn't matter if your funds are there if they control them.

This is why I didn't buy rai blocks. I didn't want another small exchange - bitgrail. Hope they come back. I will lose a few g's on there. Could be worse but could be better..

Sorry, but this does not sound like reliable info.

If attempting to log in is creating more problems to be fixed, why not actually say it in their banner or site's news feed? Or update the chat bot to say something?

As for point number 2, "soon" is meaningless term when used by whoever runs CM. This is from their own news feed which you can still see:

Time : 2018-01-03
We have few servers issue we are working on fixing them , all should be back to normal soon,
