It seems pretty unlikely they're coming back

They still haven't logged in here since the 4th - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=978044

If they were legit, they now know how worried everyone is. So why not make a legitimate update with actual details and an ETA instead of a few vague passive aggressive banner updates.

This reeks of a scam.

I agree. Either the admin does not know how to fix it, or is just posting stuff there for the kicks but not fixing it (=scam). Last login here is Jan 4th, which is when this all started. Would not be too hard to come here and give updates. Or make a twitter and post there.

Its well over a week with no real progress in sight. Now with the excuse of changing hosts, it can easily stay down for many more weeks and blame the users for it. Eventually people start giving up.

I have some coins there so will keep checking and hope it comes up. Not having too much hope now.

Guys... please understand.

It's not easy to deplete all 20 million wallets, takes some time, perhaps few weeks. Be patient.

Please change this forum thread name to "Stockholm syndrome affected CM users".

Love you, dev!

Only what we need now from CM admins - respectfull feedback about what s going on and what last news.
Not in one sentence in chat, but full explanation what s going on.

It really that hard, CM admin? You don t have 10 free minutes for proper explanation?

They should have told us at least a few days in advance "From January 4th we will be offline for a few weeks due to server maintanance, so please withdraw your coins if you don´t want to wait for us to come back online" and then inform us from time to time how things are going.

But they didn´t say anything and just went offline and even after that there´s no real information.

At least the balances do still show up, that´s why I still do believe they are really trying to come back.

freedom of speech is respect, but childish trolling behavior is being kicked.

I got kick out of the group for asking why they change the name of the Telegram group from "Coinsmarkets Scam" to "Coinsmarkets Exchange". There was no freedom of speech there, you have to agree with the admin there or you get the boot. I wasn't being rude to anybody, i was just question about the name change and call them out on why they sold out to Cm.

Those two things are not mutually exclusive. If they are fixing the issue, they certainly taking breaks to eat, sleep and probably just for the sake of taking breaks. Posting an update would not interfere with fixing the issue.

Are you serious? This is all just too suspicious.

The group that was originally started to perform a witch hunt is now completely on CM's side and is supposedly where we should be getting first hand updates from? What a crock of shit.

Well, I'm considering our coins to be lost here. On the upside though, there will be less circulating supply which is good for the price  Smiley

Nobody kicked you from the group for asking why the name was changed.

The initial goal of this group was to find the CM admin to make him post an update.

He was silent since 10 days, no updates, everybody was in panic mode. People sent complaints to his hosting, and this way it reached to him that people are pissed. He made a new update on the site as you well know.

After that happened, most of the people were a bit more calm, but now a new group was pissed because of all these people who searched him to contact him, because now he might change hosting because of the first people who submitted the complain. Really..?

Anyway, after this, a few members mentioned that maybe the scam word can be removed for now. Is not a big deal and as of now the group is named CM Exchange Scam or Legit?

Again, you did not got kicked for asking questions, more probably you were someone who was writing in ALL CAPS LOCK we are doomed, we lost all, lose hope etc. brainless FUD doesn't help and group was turning into the troll box chat.

God you retards made everything last longer than necessary. Coinsmarkets would've been up and running days ago if it weren't for your whiny, millennial bullshit.

False.  Coinsmarkets are pretending that peoples complaints are what are keeping them offline.
