7 days for a server move ? Seriously ?
Then some explanations, that syncing the blockchain takes ages ? That is something that can be done easily offsite, then the chain gets moved to the wallet directories on the server.
It would be no problem if this is some sort of website you use for your spare time, but NOT an exchange, where people have values on and are blocked from trading with their coins they have. People can lose money because of that, they are out of reach for the coins they own.
Packed with an extremely bad communication towards the users. And you wonder why FUD spreads all across ?

Guys a situation like this happened in September i think and they resolved it in like a week or so.
Plus they keep changing the ?headline? of the website, right now it says "configuring" .
No need to spread FUD.

I will change my post calling coinsmarkets a SCAM site if and when I can access trading and withdrawal.  Otherwise, I am not spreading FUD, just warning others to be careful where they send coins.

Nice said! and yes we need to just accept that we lost our funds. it's sad but there is no other option.
I guess it's that kind of attitude that keeps scammers scamming, they think there will be no consequences because everyone will roll over.  What if someone you knew stole from you, would you let that slide too?  Human beings will kill each other in the streets for a few hundred dollars.  An exchange scams a lot of users and running away with a ton of money is a very large theft and a very dangerous move to their personal health.  You never know who you've wronged and just how far they're willing to go to get revenge.

Hey guys,

I'm new here into the forum. 5 minutes ago it was possible for me to log into my account and also check my balance. There was everything ion his place at the moment but I must also say there is no BTC or LTC I only have maybe 100 bucks in 3 low coins....
But I think they really have problems. I can remember last year Poloniex has the same problems with the many new account but they also have maybe more money to do this better.....
We will see and hope the best

If coinsmarkets wants to do the right thing and thereby keep customers they would inform people of what is going on.  At least turn on the email server.  It is pretty troubling that the support email server is not even accepting emails and none of the auto generated emails for login or password reset are running.

people who operates on cryptocurrency markets should first visit some computer classes before posting something like that

If they can't fire up just the email server fine.  But knowing something about computers has nothing to do with informing customers of current status.  Regular status updates with a few actual details would stop people feeling they got cheated.  7 days down and barely a word sets off some red flags for most people.

look around, whole markets is overcrowded. i saw how they tried to send some info from time to time BUT ITS NOT WORKING FOR THE COMMUNITY - its just can't read. this is just depressing. devs are just trying to work, but its impossible with this crowd. id shut down everything completely so id be able to finish the job in silence. majority can not read and scan the situation. no wonder why the amount scam is growing too fast

A more honest company would make users aware of the complete truth and work to make a way for people to withdraw as a first priority.  If they just let people withdraw what they have, the exchange gets a good reputation and people will return.  Just leaving everyone with no information is ruining their reputation.

Why is the admin of CM doesn't take 2 minutes of his time to come down here and calm us down?

The last activity is quite problematic. Maybe they're panicking trying to get the site back up?
Either way this situation doesn't inspire very much confidence in this exchange from me. Hopefully we can see it come back.  Undecided
