It depends on the perspective of the person, Some people is treating bitcoin as a gambling because they never know how to earn profit. The mentality will be depending on the person, On how he/she will believe.
No it’s not a gambling it a digital currency and people are using it for frothier daily use if you study bitcoin so you will teach a lot of things about trade, mining, investment it will not teach you about gambling or something else in gambling you can lose your money but in bitcoin you will always earn money so bitcoin is not a gambling.

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Of course it is not , although investing to bitcoin involves risk it requires more skills than luck to successfully earn aside from that bitcoin investment is not a game with some rules on. Gambling provides profit through playing games that relies almost completely on luck so I think bitcoin is too far to be considered as gambling.

Bitcoin is a currency.  You cant say money is gambling itself.  But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin,  now it is gambling.  Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days,  but you know it might also drop.  There is still win or lose in it,  so basically its still gambling.  The process is gambling,  not bitcoin itself.
Bitcoin is not gambling and i believe of that maybe theres a section here that about gambling but theres no money involve but as far as i know there a site that using your bitcoin you can play gambling.

Not gambling, but definitely a risky and speculative investment at the moment. Don't invest what you can't handle losing!

The people who calls bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general as gambling are those who really doesnt have neccesary knowledge about it. Because if you know what it really is tgen you wouldnt call it as one. Having success with bitcoin is not simply because of luck,  but it must be based on research so that every decision you make will be a better one.

No its not. Bitcoin is definitely not gambling. People who are saying that are the ones who really don't understand it. Bitcoin is a digital currency or cryptocurrency they say. It is an alternative currency that has a lot of potential.

Actually for a lot of people bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency are gambling. People come to the market because of fear and greed. They don't want to research, to read whitepapers, learn fundamentals. They want to buy cheap and sell higher. That's it. Just ask your fellows. Who are really read whitepapers of bitcoin and ethereum at all?

Gambling can be defined as taking risks in the hope of a better outcome, one can put some money in kaysino, betting or other sports. In gambling only thing that works is probability but when you put money into bitcoin it can be called an investment rather than gambling moreover bitcoin into currency which then used by people for gambling because bitcoin can not be called as gambling. Bitcoin simply does not really get what it's about crypto currency Cool

Bitcoin was continuesly bring a good profit and help the people, because of highly potential grow in the market. I think gambling is the another way to earn bitcoin but there is no specific assurance if you will win in the gambling. All I can say right now bitcoin is not gambling.

Althogh risk is always there in every field of life but still we cannot consider it as gambling. Bitcoin is pure investment and can also be consider as trading, where we need to have good experience and trading skill, without having good trading skill we cannot make good profit from bitcoin.

I think that you do not know the definition of gambling. Gambling is not defined by time and usage of internet.

It is gambling, if one is not careful enough, this person could lose money. For example one thinks that it is time for investment, he buys BTC, waits, BTC starts to grow , he is happy. Few days later BTC starts to drop and drops below his initial investment level, he starts to panic and sells his btc. One has to have experience and cool head. Not to mention leveraged trading BTC which is possible in some trading platforms,  there it is possible to lose BIG.

Some could say that Bitcoin is gambling. Since investments are always a gamble, you are not sure whether the value would increase or decrease resulting to you a profit or loss. In addition to this, with bitcoin you can engage in gambling services as stated in our market gambling section. If you tried to invest $1000 and resulted the value decreased, then it's a loss for you if you cashed out. It can be a gamble if you choose so

Certainly, Bitcoin is a kind of money. It has own value. We use knowledge to trade and invest in Bitcoin. It is not a gamble.
Yes off course it’s not a gambling bitcoin is a digital currency and here always people are going to earn with profit because you can invest here and as well as it can teach you a lot of good things and gambling is totally different then bitcoin I think once if you lose in gambling so I’m sure you will not return back because gambling is not a good habit.

As your said, he is a gambler, but Bitcoin is not gambling because there are many people became the traders, investors in this field. Some people do not have time for trading Bitcoin, they have decided to become the holder of Bitcoin and never sell their Bitcoin below the base price (bought price). They are the real investors and Bitcoin gave them this opportunity.
