Just got a little concern.. Since boosteriod is a cloud storage and can store lots of data, Is there a possibility that boosteriod can be hacked? What are the safety measures they have to avoid future risks?

I noticed that also, but as per BTR they will destroy all the unsold and undistributed tokens so no need to worry about that, and surely once they release the trial version more investors will join BTR.
Can you help with my little confusion? I don't understand why they need to burn or destroy the unsold tokens from the Pre-ICO. What is the reason behind that? Why don't they just use it again for other purposes? Burning is an approach used to cause deflation by shrinking the amount of BTR tokens in circulation. In other words this technique gives advantages to BTR holders become wealthier because burning increase the price of a token and as a result the lower supply could lead to a higher demand.

There seems to be a very large number of tokens for sale in the ICO, are they planning to burn ALL unsold tokens ?
Not Really! What they goal is to promote their project as well. Its not easy to develop an app like this. So maybe its not about token. As stated on their website all unsold and undistributed tokens will be destroyed after the ICO so that means that they will burn all unsold tokens.

It can be hacked but the thing is Boosteroid is decentralized and tokenized meaning you need their particular token to access their mainframe. By doing so it exposes also the hacker's location and it puts him at risk. For safety measures will be implement and updated from time to time.

Yes there is a possibility because cybercrime evolves rapidly and any system designed to face this threat must be designed to evolve rapidly. This question has not been answered on their whitepaper or blog post and it could be answer by the technical team but they made some statement about this "A Detailed project of creating computational power will be formed after the first ICO" so lets just wait for some updates on their whitepaper.

Given the fact that boosteroid has the capability to hold such a big amount of data . My question is what will be the exact storage given if the customer subscribe onto it .
It will always depend on how much BTR they have. Each BTR corresponds to 256Gb RAM and 96Gb SSD. The more BTR you have the more storage you'll get. Oh I see, so what if the I want to buy btr tokens in exchanges, will I get lower price than buying it directly to them? Any Cryptocurrency value is volatile when it is on the exchanges so no one can exactly predict if you could buy BTR tokens in a lower price.

Provided that boosteroid offers cloud services my question is what will be the maximum capacity storage on the given price?
It is specified on the website as well as the white paper. " 1 BTR corresponds to the cost of one hour computing power on the basis of eight NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards; two processors Intel Xeon E5 2680v4; RAM 256Gb; SSD 960Gb." The maximum storage for each BTR will be 256Gb if RAM and 960 if SSD. wow that is a lot of storage to be honest, how can they afford to maintain their service for such a cheap price? this will help many business a lot. Well the team is started working on the Boosteroid project since October 2016 and conduct various test until they found out that due to their own architecture and constant capacity utilization the cost of cloud computing is significantly reduced so they will be able to provide the service at a price much lower than the other existing competitors.

This is a good information for us that is interested in this project, and i believe blockchain cannot be hacked so our information or the files we will sent to them is very secured from attacks but we dont know for sure if someday someone will develop or create a tech to bypass the blockchain.

I see, so that utilization is their key to provide a good service with a low price because i am thinking how will they get profit for themselves not until you give such answer, thanks for answering by the way

I think anyone could buy the token without exposing their true identity because being anonymous is one of the feature of ICO's using the blockchain technology so it is not enough against the hackers but I bet that Boosteroid will have a good firewall regarding this issue.

Good thing with this mission is they use the blockchain which is hard or even cannot be penetrate by hackers unlike from other companies who do cloud computing they have a lot of issues regarding this and not just from hacks but also they have issues from bugs with their system.

the number of token is not a problem because it is a service provider and it is way much cheaper than prevailing market price that tech giants are manipulating. yes they adopt burning method of unsold tokens I think his/her concern is about the price of btr tokens. if they will not burn those unsold token that would be a disaster for the price of btr token in exchange since there is too much supply but for the users this will be a great opportunity to take advantage of their cloud services. It is not stated though in whitepaper that they will burn the excess token after the ICO, maybe they will not much focus on the value of their token since it is impliedly stated that they will offer cheap prices for their cloud.

As far as I know blockchain stores information across a network of personal computers permanently and distributes the information if needed or requested that's why it makes difficult and expensive to hack while Boosteroid have their own server or facilities to store all of the data. I know that the team are compose of professionals and know what to do about this issue so they owe us some good explanation

Nothing to be worried though, i just checked their website and it is already 700 USD. I know it still a long road for those max caps but the ICO has just started and to think that their ICO has 3 stages so i strongly believe many people will invest to them

The available BTR token for 1st stage is 100 million, do you think the remaining will be add to the 2nd stage or will be freeze and burn at the end of ICO?

I don't know yet, there are different caps for different stage of their ICO. maybe they will just freeze it during the course of the ICO in order not to messed it up since there will be different prices in 1st, 2nd, 3rd stage and possibly they will burn those unsold after.
