Well I didn't hear that there are concrete plans but Zuckerberg said that one of his goals for 2018 is to look into blockchain technology and learn more about it. So someone can assume that he could think about how it could be used for Facebook etc.

This is a good strategy. They can build a big community and we can earn some tokens.

The 45% bonus for the 1st ICO round is quite attractive and this will surely attract many investors considering Sphere has already a working platform and is now enjoying a steady stream of community members.

It's good that each rounds lasts aprox 14 days so there's enough time for everyone to enter the ICO. I also expect them to reach the HC.

It will be very difficult to reach the hardcap unless sphere has 1 or more unique features which distinguishes them with other social media.
Like instagram, 9gag, snapchat, twitter.
They all came up with unique features.

At the moment, the Sphere has a unique feature only in that the community of this network is focused on the topic of cryptography. For example, the feature of Instagram is the selfie-photo of girls, and there it is useless to advertise crypto-currencies. So to say, all social networks are divided according to the interests of their audience.

Actually I checked the introduction video once again. I haven't used the app so far, thought it is just android but you also already have an iOS app, that is great. Anyways, the features of Sphere are quite similar to Facebook, what I can see in the video, also it looks quite good from the design perspective.

The marketplace function is working in which way? Is it just to put up insertions or also something like a payment function or so? And if yes, which possible ways are there to pay?

To be fair, every company worth something is investigating blockchain technology now. Reddit did that while back by hiring a blockchain specialist but if i remember correctly they fired their blockchain specialist soon after that.

I don't think the marketplace function is working yet, but it should be the classic marketplace platform where you can buy and sell stuff paying with SAT tokens. Don't know if other ways of payment will be available.

Facebook games like Farmville, Candy Crush, and other games has their own game currency which you cannot trade or use in other games, imagine if farmville coins can be spend in Mafia games and other facebook integrated games, a common currency for all games.

Sphere allows to integrate third party games in their platform.. And everyone can earn SAT tokens anyway they like in any of the game available in Sphere network. So gamers not only spend time to earn worthless virtual game currencies but a real crypto currency which is worth some real market value

I cant find it too, i think its necessary for a social media platform to have a web version.

The browser version is already available, you can check it out of the official website. Not sure about the games though, still too early to talk about them I think.

The social media industry is a little too crowded atm. That's why I think It'll be very difficult for Sphere to gain a significant market share and userbase. At this point, I don't think any new social network (not even a decentralized one) make much impact. Except the sphere is coming up with something completely  new. Marketing too, would be needed. I hope the team is really prepared for this one.

The browser version is already available, you can check it out of the official website. Not sure about the games though, still too early to talk about them I think.
