With ASIC manufacturers capitalizing on their ASICS like they are now, it's just an unfair game of the absolute richest getting richer.
What is unfair about it? How can someone who doesn't understand free markets even be a proponent of cryptocurrencies? Are you sure you are in the right place? ASICs will bring mining to more people than GPUs and CPUs ever did. How? When each unit is 6000 dollars a peice! Nobody can afford that! Cheapest asic right now is 80$ Link or it didn't happen, and BFL doesn't count.

You do realize that there are 100s of people on this forum deeper then $100k in GPU/ASIC already..

And these are just the first generation ASICs. Do you know how much the first computers cost? ASICs have already brought the cost per hash way down.

Absolutely. The prices of ASICS are not only capitalized, 80 dollars for simply a flimsy USB device, it is a complete gamble consequently, as you NEVER know if you will ever get a return on your investment because of all of the other big-rig ASIC miners as well as private ASICS.

Isn't that equally true for the rich 'fat-cats' you despise, as it is for all of us? Mining BTC is a big gamble. Full stop.

Dude, look at the development of technology in every sector. Things always start out expensive as those with big money pay the initial costs for further technology development. You are seeing right now and not a couple years down the road. ASICs and other software technology will make mining more accessible to everyone.

Type 'getprimespersec'. Also, you can just chech CPU workload in Task manager> processes A bit late to the party, eh? What CPU are you using?

1827...any good? Using the "High Performance" client posted on here...Celeron. Have tons of them in my scrypt miners (cheap) . I assume because they are cheap, that 1827 is not good..
EDIT:any way to point all my cpu's to one wallet, make a little mini-pool to combine their rate? And I always seem to be late. I went to put $6000 into Satoshi dice to get dividends yesterday, fell asleep...woke up today to find i screwed up pretty bad.lol

You will be lucky to get anything. I haven't got anything running over 3000 pps; but then its a matter of luck. You can copy your wallet.dat and paste it in all other PCs. Is it worth it to mine this coin on a Quad core i7 2.2 GHZ?
EDIT: 2670-QM Intel core
You may as well fire it up and see. Maybe you will get lucky. Just use the high performance hp4 version and in console type 'setgenerate true #no of threads'. Leaving one thread for other work is more than good enough.

With 5k-10k pps, you gain 1Block/day and it's decreasing.

You can copy your wallet.dat and paste it in all other PCs.
As soon as you use the 100 keys in your keypool, your wallets will diverge if you do this.

Has anyone changed this...?
static const unsigned int nPrimorialHashFactor = 7; unsigned int nPrimorialMultiplier = nPrimorialHashFactor;
I've been making some changes that I think are beneficial - and am looking to share info. PM me.
