So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?
move it to hardware wallet and just let it ride.
bitcoin demand unstopped so that price will keep rising

I would like to suggest you that hold your bitcoin in Wallet Because it is more better to have bitcoin than cash , here I am sure that if you will cashout that amount of bitcoin for small amount of money than what you will get , only $500 , ofcourse you will use it to compete your any need .
But if you can hold this amount of bitcoin and hold for long term of 2-3 years then you will get 20-30 times more money than what you will get today , so why not to hold this amount of bitcoin instead to sell .
And if in that long term hold to bitcoin , you feel big need of money then you can sell easily for money , and can buy after small time when you get money .

Just keep your bitcoin for a while wait till the price reach to 20k then sell it and buy some altcoins that you think might increase its price as well.

It is up to you what you want to do with your bitcoin,
I would advise you to hold your bitcoin for long term
profit or invest in lending them with trusted company to earn
a percentage in profit.

500$ is not so much, so I'd suggest you two things: use this sum to buy cheap altcoins or just hold your Bitcoins.
Where are you storing this money by the way? On an exchange or on your own wallet?

.03 bitcoin is a lot. You can't get that easily from somewhere. It may not be that big, but you can already do a lot with it if you really want to maximize that amount. You can either keep it and let it grow as bitcoin's value continue to increase or buy other altcoins by means of trading. In that way you can make your bitcoin grow. Be wise on how to use it.

Well. You can either hold it and wait for its price to rise. Or you can sell them.

as for me - I would better keep it in BTC.
But if you really need money now - than you need to cash it out

0.03 isn't that much right now. I would just keep it and forget about it and it will be worth a lot, lot more someday.
Even is not enough right now, i suggest to you to keep it because someday it will have a much worth, but for now keep what ever you doing to earn bitcoin because someday your effort to earn bitcoin has worth someday.

I think you should be grateful that there is someone who cares to send a bitcoin to you. I think the best thing to do is to say thank you for the blessing that he or she shares to you. .03 bitcoins is a huge amount that can use to start a new life.

Try to keep your bitcoin with you. And don't move it or sell to anyone and you will definitely get great value in future.

If I were you, I will just hold it. There's no need for you think what to do about it because when the price rises, the equivalent of that bitcoin he or she gave to you will increase when you will convert it to fiat money after years of keeping it. But in spite of many ideas that we will tell you,  the decision will still be yours. It's up to you whether you will accept our advice or not.

You use that to invest in different altcoins. And definitely your bitcoins will definitely increase. Or you just hold it until the price of bitcoins increases and you exchanges it on fiat then buy bitcoins again when the price falls. Thereby the more you increase your investment 0.03 bitcoins given to you by your friends.

I think you should just save it. I'm not sure if bitcoin will rise it's value very soon but if you don't need the money yet, why not save it for the future. If something important comes up or an emergency comes up, you can pull some cash. Believe me, shit happens anytime, and it will be worse if you have nothing to pull off from your pocket.

Tunggu hingga harganya naik lalu jual, itu hanya pemberian bukan? jadi tidak apa-apa kalau anda menggunakannya untuk kebaikan. Anggap saja dia(teman anda) memberi anda bTC untuk dijadikan modal
