If your friend sent you .03 bitcoin better keep it since you have no idea yet . Go for a research about it , explore the internet and find how much was the value of bitcoin and find out what is the history behind bitcoin and when did it started , check the price from where did it started until now and you will see  the value of bitcoin if its good to keep . Some might sell it because some are greedy it is convertible to money but if you look at the bright side and if you are smart enough strong hands will keep it and find a way how to use to grow it more or earn more . Best thing to do is go for a research about it and you will see the value and benefits of it and how strong this currency in the world , this change the payment system of the world . So better thank your friend who sent you bitcoin because he might opened up your mind in the real world

Use it as an investment and continue adding bitcoin to it. Go search online on the different ways to earn bitcoin. You can also convert gour money to bitcoin if you want.

Leave it or invest it. That's actually worth like more than $300. So, its better that you understand the capacity of what you hold in your hands. So, if u cannot use it, u can borrow me........Lol. But sincerely if you cannot trade, then hold it.It is not advisable to mine.

If you don't need to withdraw it for your living bills , I advice you to hold this amount and keep working for BTC online and collect your coins in a secured wallet until the price go up again highly. Bitcoin's price actually is high but its expected to become a lot higher in the future.

So any progress or what happened did you sent back the 0.03btc again to your friend?
Please keep it up as btc.  One day it will go higher if btc goes up to 6 digits.
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

It depends on your financial circumstances I guess.  My view is, agreeing to take what you were owed in Bitcoin suggests to me that perhaps you’re not in a desperate need to have the cash.  If that is the case, it might be worth your while to hold it.  Chances are in a couple of weeks, your 0.03 could double in value which would mean a very decent return for you over a relatively short period of time.  Obviously if you are in dire need of the money then you’d cash out.

what the other person gave us naturally to keep until the bitcoin grows as long as there is no profit and so everything is working and earning and returning the other what he has given us, even in the evening if he is lucky, it is not worth the time to run and sell it and keep it safe

That a great opportunity to grab if you have the enough amount of bitcoin in that value of 0.03, so holding is recommended. Price will increase eventually and it may reach unstoppable, because there's no boundaries that may hinder the price to reach into higher value in the future. If that will be a good future to happen for us, then grabbing that luck is a wise choice to do.

If you really needed it, then cash it out. But I suggest that before you invest it, do a lot of research about bitcoin. Don't just believe anything you hear or see. Ask a lot and double check things.

I suggest you hold your bitcoin for a long term investment, right now bitcoin price is in the low so selling it now is unwise. I believe that bitcoin price will agin surge in the months ahead following the end of profit taking by investors. I think bitcoin price will continue to increase as more demand is forecasted this year and with fix supply I am sure that its price is going up.

Well ! There are a lot of ways to increase more your bitcoins you can just invest on ICO and earn more money. But, remember that not all the ICo is  good some of them will take your money away please choose wisely if you prefer to invest on ICO and the other way is holding your bitcoins. You know that bitcoins is getting populated and more users are encourage to use it that is why it affects the price of the bitcoins but remember that not all times it keeps higher value you just be aware of losing. Patience is needed! Goodluck to you.

You are lucky that your friend gave you 0.03 Bitcoin. It may be small for now, but it can become big next time. So for now, let it rest in your wallet. Do not cash it out. Just hold as long as you can. Its price is climbing up again this year. I really think its price this year or on the next following years will be greater than its price last year. I hope you have not cashed it out yet.

If you need this money today, take them. If not, then leave one half in bitcoinsBTC, and the second (in equal parts) invest in altcoins. In the future, this can be your condition.

I would say sell it if you're not very knowledgeable/don't want to keep up with cryptocurrency. Cash is cash there's no disputing it, and even if Bitcoin is like the gold standard in cryptocurrency, cash is still obviously safer.
