If you want the cash as it is then you should cash out. However, if you are planning to invest in the cryptocurrency industry especially to bitcoin, then I suggest you keep it and hold your investment right now. Bitcoin provides and offers tons of possibilities and opportunities for bitcoin investors especially now that it is very anticipated not only in the market but as well as the pop culture.

If I were you, then I would play it on the gambling table or invest it on an ICO. But if you are not interested in gambling then better invest it, because after all gambling is not recommended for people who do not like or not accustomed to gambling.

You could buy some good top alt coins like from top 10 of from top 20 to make better chance to get some extra profit when markets  will move rising again in this year later.

So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

BTC0.03 in today's exchange rate would be somewhere around $200, which is down by 60% from the prices in December 2017. But you don't need to worry too much. The basics are strong, and the recovery will occur sooner or later.

I suggest that you use the bitcoin to buy some altcoin to be invested or traded on some exchange, you will benefit if you are good at analyzing market prices

I really hope you cashed out before the turn of the new year since BTC is really down right now. If you haven't, then you can just hold on to it until later in the year or when in the next bull run.

I will rather you leave it there for it to grow more instead of cashing out without using it unless you are urgently in need of cash that's my piece of advice

Hey guys, you seem to have gone through deep into gambling and that makes you think only of gambling when you have money, you should stop that thinking before gambling causes your money to disappear and become a gambling addict. Gambling is always something that needs to be removed if you want your money to be safe, investment is still the wiser answer but I would not encourage them to invest in ico, this field is very confusing and needs a lot of knowledge to determine the potential of a project, pick the potential altcoin and invest in it, that would be what we should do with this question

According to current exchange rates, the price is not that high where you will get enough of the returns from holding. But for now, I recommend you to invest in some of the altcoins since investing in them right now will be a profitable deal...

For me what to do with your 0.03 Btc is just HODL or you can invest in a more secure site and it will be rise and you'll be surprised that your btc will be double or triple. But it depends on you if you want it to cash out or you want it to invest

it all depends on yourself, if you want to know more what is bitcoin and crypto world, you can use it for trading or investing in crypto world. but if you do not want to know more about the world of crypto, you can just keep it or hold the bitcoin until whenever you want.

if in my opinion, you better keep the bitcoin you have today, because if you sell it at this time. will harm you, because the price is decreasing.

If you need the money use it now. But if you don't need to use it for the this time, just let it ride. It will rise if you invest it. Just wait

You should hold 0.3 BTC for a long time, because if btc200000 is one, then you will get a lot of money.

You should first add a little more because that is a bit of a small amount of investment and profit will not be that much and also, hold. Avoid selling especially at with the current situation where the market value of it is low due to the continuous dumps in the market. Remember that if the amount of your holdings is big, huge profit will be in return. But still, that's your money in the first place so you can do what you want with it.

Its yours so its all up to you.. Whether sell it at a real value in the market or cash it out for $500 ..But if i were you,
I would ask my friend who gave that bitcoin to me and ask for helpful tips and advice. He might even help and teach you about cryptocurrency. You should just let it ride. Hold it for now..
Then dump it at the right time.
