confirmed what issue exactly? I haven't seen h20 mention a single thing about payout issues or discrepancy between servers. The only thing h20 has said about the servers is that they need a fix up for instability, especially the EU server. NOTHING about the amsterdam or useast servers was specifically mentioned.

Your in here complaining about money, say you aren't complaining, then proceed the openly admit you wont take any advice or suggestions from anyone. So what exactly are you doing here?

Why are you still arguing about this? h20 has stated himself that it IS in FACT an issue and it does affect payout it doesn't matter if you're an exception

please point to where he stated this fact

I'm pointing my miners at the three best pinged pools. Of course I could point them all to the best.
If it's so that each server tends to mine different coins in different proportions, do you think I'm helping or hurting myself by diversifying. I've been quite happy with results of the main server, just wondering if I can maximize somehow by playing around.

I'd wager on average, you won't really affect your results.  But if you do, we sure as hell would like to know! Smiley

Umm he said so on IRC and it was copied into the thread here:

I (mining at Amsterdam) noticed the same issue and yesterday H2O confirmed (on IRC) that currently not all servers give the same profits, but he is working on a fix. Excerpts from a chatlog (with other news as well):

Jan 31 22:23:03 <Acrobat>   Do we know why the difference in unexchanged between different MC users is so enormous? Are you screwed when mining EU/Amsterdam instead of US?
Jan 31 22:31:35 <h2odysee>   Acrobat: I know that's an issue. In the future, it won't matter what server you're on.
Jan 31 22:31:47 <h2odysee>   I'll make all shares equal
Jan 31 22:33:15 <h2odysee>   The difference in profit between the various servers should be smaller now, than it was before.
Jan 31 22:34:48 <h2odysee>   well, they should be. I made a change a couple of days ago that should make them more equal
---
Jan 31 22:39:43 <h2odysee>   current plans, for those interested, are to fix the amsterdam server (I think I know why it disconnects a lot), then set up a new system for rolling out new servers.
Jan 31 22:40:11 <h2odysee>   So I will be able to easily provision new servers
Jan 31 22:40:38 <h2odysee>   Once that happens, we'll get a Dallas, LA, and Hong Kong server
Jan 31 22:41:03 <h2odysee>   both Ireland and Amsterdam suffer from the same problem. I don't know if either is best
Jan 31 22:42:28 <h2odysee>   I could do a Frankfurt server maybe.
Jan 31 22:44:48 <h2odysee>   Scandinavia will be low priority, because none of my hosting providers have datacenters there. I'd have to use a new one.
---
Jan 31 22:46:27 <h2odysee>   Yeah, the current load issues are the main thing
Jan 31 22:46:33 <h2odysee>   Which I can solve
---
Jan 31 22:47:27 <h2odysee>   I need to lower the diff again. But I can't yet.

Hi!
Nice work!

Does it work with other pools? (like waffle?).
Another question, is the page auto-updated?

It's good to see h2o comment on equal shares. I'd really like to see all shares have equal payout, and each mining server delegate work to multiple coins, building an inventory of coins waiting for good times to sell them off. I'd be fine with the pool keeping unexchanged balances, mining when difficulty is low, selling when price is high. Those two things are different and mostly unrelated, it would lead to much higher payouts in the long term.

Hey.
Thanks. Smiley

It only works for middlecoin. I set it to auto-update every 10th minute.

Probably because of the big hoopla over the Dogeflation "controversy" over on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1wtgat/well_with_dogecoin_announcing_they_are_going_to/

The difference in payout for servers has increased dramatically. Is the uswest server the only one accumulating high unexchanged while other servers have low payout and low unexchanged. Isn't it time to normalize payouts based on utility as a priority rather than adding beta servers with different payouts?

I'm on useast and have high unexchanged.

0.27 BTC unexchanged, and 0.135 held by pool.

Looks like another great day.   Grin

Of course, and h20 said he is working on it.

There's definetily something wonky going on today. Just yesterday I had something around 0.012BTC/MH and today it has dropped down to 0.0064BTC/MH (current rate). I'm also one of those who have almost no unexchanged. I know alt-coin values have dropped quite a bit but that doesn't explain the whole drop. So today seems to be a great (or at least pretty good) payday for some and some of us it is the lowest yet.

And no, I'm not saying h2o is stealing, all I'm saying that this huge server/user discrepancy should be one of his top priorities if not the top as it seems it just has gotten bigger with time.

If you're on a beta server like I am , Then you will get a lot less, I've noticed it's been happening for a while.
