10% rejection rate WTF? ? 280x TOXIC 749.7K/750.7Kh/s | A:29696 R: 0 HW0 I13 = Cannot go above I 13 HW errors GALORE 280x TOXIC 747.0K/750.1Kh/s | A:39936 R: 0 HW0 I13 = Cannot go above I 13 HW errors GALORE 290 TOXIC 896.1K/895.3Kh/s | A:33792 R:12288 HW0 I20 = These can handle it and many people do it as a NORM I have tried I17 - I18 - I19 REjction rate is hover between 5-10% 1. asia.middlecoin.com Backup 2.middlecoin.com It cant be the same settings mannn everyone I see has these 290 settings, By the way the Top 2 cards are 280x Where the HELL is H20 is he seriusly wanting people to go.. is this his plan, Id laugh if ever one goes and Kaapuffffffffff 0 Pay out for him anymore What the fuck are you talking about. You have an issue with one of your cards and its configuration as it is clearly seen by your numbers posted what do you expect H2 to communicate to you about that ? Also how do you figure rejection rate has anything to do with the intensity setting for a card ? None of what you said makes any sense. From the looks of the speed you are getting with the 290 I would say your rejection rates are due to your current clock speeds of the card. Did you even think about that or are you so stubborn that you think you should get the max speed with no ill effects for anything else. Please don't now tell me that others claim to have the same clock speeds for that card but get lower rates. Each card and system is different aside from the fact that just because something is posted on the Internet does not necessarily mean it is true or has not been massaged a bit. You want to fix your problem I suggest you look at the clock speeds on that card and adjust them accordingly. You have to find a balance between high hash rate and errors/rejects/stales for the given pool and or coin you are mining. WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE WORD -====FUCK===- ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? I just changed servers and now look 749.7K/750.3Kh/s | A:28672 R: 0 744.0K/749.5Kh/s | A:20480 R: 0 922.8K/894.3Kh/s | A:22528 R:1024 1.2% Rejection rate with the other server. The setting on my cards are what MANY 290's holder do You think I have not researched get your facts right before talking!!! I HAVE NOW BEEN MINING ALMOST AS LONG AS I WAS WITH THE OTHER SERVER AND LOOK AT THE REJECT RATE DIFFFERENCE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CARD SETTINGS, I MINED OTHER POOLS WITH NO PROBLEM So you are saying that middlecoin has a problem only with your (or others)290's but not 280's ? Your data you posted points to the 290 as the problem right ? Stop writing in caps too it is immature. It does not help you get your point across any better. no I am saying that the server doesnt like the setting of the 290 but the 280 is fine, as it is mild. It seems agressive setting dont like middle coin, If I min LTC I dont get these rejcts. I bought the 290 for a reason and paid more for a reason so it can mine faster. why buy a powerful card and use the setting as mild as the cheaper card? And I just showed you one clippet there was another clippet showing you the reject rate of the 280 as high as the 290

You see the reject rate is to do with middlecoin not the card setting ,... THis guy Gamer67 is telling me my card setting is the issue... PFFFF you think I have tried all different settings you think I just started mining yesterday?!?!?!?, I have tried MANY DIFFERENT SETTINGS and auto switch pools dont do this--- Get out of here, trying to make me look like a fool WTFF -- Tfeh
AND IF YOU READ CAREFULLLY IM NOT SAYING I BLAME H20 ON THE REJECTION I AM ASKING HIM TO COMMUNICATE TO US ON WHY MANY OF US ARE GETTING HIGH REJECTIONS WITH THE SAME SETTINGS WE HAD BEFORE!!! GET IT!!!!!
I just like this pool for the fact that is so simple and easy which is why I am asking for just a litttle feedback from him but SInce I changed the server
I have now been mining longer than i was before and my % is only 2 compare to 10. So how can it be the card?
Well if it was the card, then chances are you would be getting HW errors and not rejects... but anyways... I won't speak for h2o, but the rejects have been something that most of us have just accepted. He has acknowledged in the past that he would look into them, but I am guessing he is just as stumped as the rest of us. Until the rejects are so high that it is causing this pool to be less profitable than straight LTC/DOG/WTF mining then it's really not a big deal. I like Middlecoin because he has a positive track record of updating the coins we mine very quickly and the newer sites don't have that track record. Initial set-up of an auto-switching pool is a pain in the ass in and of itself but the daily maintenance to continuously add coins as they come out is very vital to profitability and Middlecoin has been great with that. Although, I agree. It would be nice if he would appoint an official spokesperson for this thread and provide updates on a weekly basis. Some of us don't do that Twitter stuff. lol

On a serious note is it the thread concurrency I should be looking at or Intensity, PUt it this way 290 - should be fine from I17-I20
So I dont think its this.
Thread concurrency maybe
And that about the G command I cant seem to have G 2,2,1
Doesnt work so how do I have my 290 a 1 and rest a 2?

Yeah, I am getting 6-8% rejects over the past couple of days. No biggie. I'm happy with the payouts and I like the simplicity of Middlecoin. That clevermining site seems nice, but not nice enough for me to go through the hassle of taking 5 seconds to change my batch file Besides... this thread is filled with comedy gold and I like to have an excuse to read it every day I did take the time to change 3mhs over to cleverminig for 24hrs. All I can say is, clever mining it ain't. Oh, ok. I can say a bit more. What the fcuk. Just wasted my time; and I feel like my cards have been raped. They may need therapy to get over the trauma.

Post your complete config. i run on batch but here it is : Btw I JUST changed Intensity to 19 to see what would happen and the rejection rate matched the 280x and now its sitting at 8% rejection loll, so I lower intensity and it goes higher, meh Im over it. OK here is my batch with the I @ 19 it was 20 before and now rejection is sitting at 8% but that possible becuase it just started i may need to let it settle - --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u BLABLABLABLABLBA -p x --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://amsterdam.middlecoin.com:3333 -u BLABLABLABLALBA -p x -I 13,13,19 -g 2 -w 256,256,512 --thread-concurrency 8192,8192,24550 --gpu-engine 1080,1080,1000 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1500 --temp-target 70 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 76 --gpu-powertune 20

For the R9 290 should the worksize be at 512?

I have suggested this in the past; just pay someone a certain amount of BTC and have that person update the forum. Easier for everyone. The underlying theme from folks is that they don't know what exactly is going on. H20 can just have a liaison and then the pool can ask questions to the liaison as much as they like.

*side rant* Why do people censor things that are public information? I just don't understand. The same thing happened in the AM Cube thread where I was trying to help people and they would censor their computer's IP address on their local network as if me knowing that 192.168.1.1 as their IP was going to make them susceptible to an attack. Dunno, that just always kinda makes me chuckle. THOU SHALT NOT KNOW MY PUBLIC KEY!

Yeah, just the little things are kind of annoying. Like why hasn't he just updated the OP to include the stats pages, or at least update the middlecoin homepage to include that? I lost my bookmark and had to go searching for it. Oh wells, no worries. I know he is busy as hell with this thing, but his hard work is definitely paying off... this website has made him quite a nice sum of coin. I'd be a liason for 0.1% of that pool fee

You can't set several values for --gpu-threads in cgminer for different cards. You'll have to use sgminer 4.0.0 or 4.1.0.

Yes. SGMiner is just a better version of CGMiner since CGMiner stopped supporting Scrypt mining after version 3.7.2 CGWatcher 1.3.5.2 (i believe) added support for SGMiner.

You can only do that with the miners posted above your post or with kalroth's version of cgminer. I do not have the link to that but if you do a search you can find it. If not I can send you a copy. To be honest I would use sgminer anyway as it gave me a boost in mhz on some cards while also having better stability especially with R9 cards.
