H2o: If you are reading this, please post in this thread. Let us know what really is going on in the backend. It isn't about handholding or wiping our noses but we do need some accountability for our patronage.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You won't hear from h20 here.  He doesn't come here anymore and has disavowed this thread ever since tealover DOXed him and tried to blackmail/extort him. He tried to reveal his name, address, phone number, photo, Facebook,  etc.

You can try pinging him on the IRC Middlecoin room on Freeenode where he's most responsive, or over on twitter: https://twitter.com/middlecoinpool or the Middlecoin Forums here: http://middlecoinforum.com

Seems like i'm getting fisted in this and another multipool pretty hard. Rejected % hovers around 20% for my 2x 6950 setup. Its under 3% for my 2x 280x tho. Also cant really make sense where i'm connected to about now since both are directed to middlecoin.com. Diff is different tho so gotta do some research. Also could last nights Doge fork have anything to do with this ?

WOW wtfK happened to middlecoin today???

http://middlecoin.info/flotchart.php?BTC=13P91dVX398m1nvGFB1aNCgcgPu2tY8UH4

Just decided to not record hashrate for ages even when it was accepting shares and going fine.

Also the payout was rubbish for a 5.5mh/s rig... And the unexchanged just stays unexchanged forever. Not happy, may be time for a switch...

Today sucked; at least in the past there was some condolence in seeing the amount of un-exchanged BTC go up for a future payout.

But today it was like we mined a shitty coin all day.

Here's to hoping today was just a fluke; last week for about 4-5 days we had everything going smooth.

I've been a fan for Middlecoin for the longest but fuck; I am trying Wafflepool until H20 sorts out his algorithm.

What in the world? It's stuck on a mediocre coin or something.

We mined the wrong fork of doge and kitteh the other day

But it's ok, you can forgive mistake, the pool owner only makes $80,000/week

.....ummmm? Yeh, I just voted with my hash power pulled it firmly away from mc. I hope there is a huge drop by at least 35-50% just so h2o can witness the effects of his incompetence lately.

Right, that is the whole point of connecting to a pool; miners mine and in exchange for a fee the pool operator takes care of the details of keeping up with forks, new coins, etc.

I don't know what's going on, but it seems like it's no longer worth mining here. What's the best alternative?

Check this thread.

Data from just 12 hours of mining is quite irrelevant.

Fair enough; right now the battle seems to be between wafflecoin and Clevermining.com

Seems to me Wafflecoin has the edge at the moment but I would say those two are the best right now.

Exactly. It's just a case of sheer incompetence and people still sit here posting stupid popcorn pics and follow h20 religiously. He's not worth the fees right know. God only knows what he is distracted with!!

Clevermining has a tremendous reject rate and stability issues. I've been saying middlecoin needs to get fixed for a few weeks now, still mining partially here but testing other pools. ALL of the multi pools I've been testing have had similar issues, coupled with the very low bitcoin price and issues surrounding it, just be happy with what you get. Spread out your miners and keep your bitcoins.
