We just saw this article today, and felt the need to clarify a few points in it as they did spend a little time talking about Pepper Mining but never even fired off an email to us, and some of the information therein has been a little damaging to us. https://peppermining.com/response-to-ars-technica-article/Long story short, Pepper Mining is not based in California and we do not have a partnership agreement with HashFast other than the HDK agreement we signed back in the early spring to be a licensee that can make boards based on their chips. They did say they were planning on doing a blog post about us, but the new and fancy sounding Premier Design Partner label for board designers is news to us and there is not any sort of business partnership between the two companies. If you guys are going to continue to deal with liars & thieves, like scamfast & bfl, then it seems you'll have to get used to getting hit with some mud yourselves.

Shocking. These maggots have used lawyers & legalese to steal at every turn, nobody should be surprised. This wasn't voluntary this is what Minor Miner and Entropy-uc were talking about doing last week in their thread, "Putting Adults in Charge at Hashfast" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=588068.0In other words if Hashfast owes you money this might be good news.

Seriously doubt a chapter 7 bankruptcy claim will be net good news for victims. More likely this is hashfast's response to avoid paying refunds to customers victims. Investopedia explains 'Chapter 7'
The investors who take the least risk are paid first. For example, secured creditors take less risk because the credit that they extend is usually backed by collateral, such as a mortgage or other asset of the company. Next in line are the unsecured creditors, and then the investors. This phenomenon is known as "absolute priority." IOW you're screwed by crooks and their lawyer lapdogs. Two scamfast companies, one incorporated in Delaware. No this was a screw job from the get go. Edit: you may be correct given the number of unrecognizable names listed in that pdf. I certainly hope this action results in a shutdown of hashfast, an interruption of the ongoing fraud, and some measure of relief for their creditors(customers). https://business-bankruptcies.com/cases/hashfast-technologies-llcBaker & Hostetler, LLP is representing creditors.

This may in fact turn out to be good news.

Anyway... 3 articles on ars, front page of reddit, lots of mentions almost everywhere (even @Bitcoin) and tens of thousands of chips on hand...
The Bitcoin network spends 5 millions a week to finance it's expansion process. How could HashLabs possibly fail in the meanwhile? Independently from how hard they tried to destroy the company, I think that they have still a long way to go.

Did anybody receive an answer from them regarding the chip conversion (I think they are ignoring my emails)? Do they now convert all orders to chips or do we have to confirm the conversion?

Any idea, if the chip conversion is true and real, how many chips to expect to receive for each Sierra order?
