Whoa, just downloaded c00w's latest after hearing everyone talk about it. Looks PHENOMENAL. I'll be switching back from ryouiki's fork when I get home from work tonight methinks  Grin

BTW, I haven't had a chance to really dig, is slicing implemented in c00w's branch yet or is that still in the works?

slush it's known to have implemented a scoring system a while ago to make hopping not feasible, don't worry about that and let your hopper make his job Wink

Wait, I should not worry about not earning any BTC for the shares I submitted?  Sad

He meant dont use slush if you are concerned, its not a very practical place to hop at.
Well, slush's scoring algorithm is know broken, so while you won't earn a lot/anything on long rounds, on short rounds you will earn a LOT more, even more than prop. That's why it is enabled by default, but only until ~10% of difficulty (though that seems to have been a bit funky, hopefully it's already fixed). Slush is definitely hoppable, but has higher variance than other pools.

BTC world stats appear delayed. The English stats appear current but the German ones that are scraped appear stuck, looks like a caching issue. I sent a note to the pool operator about it.

I'm seeing the exact opposite behavior, my english stats are stuck at 21,832, and my german stats are more updated at 32,493

Check your payouts. mtred does automatic payouts.

Of the .37 remaining you may see another huge chunk disappear as you probably have pending reward from their orphaned block on 21/7/11 11:15am

Rex is leaving that dead reward pending until he finishes updates to the backend.

reddit.com/r/mtred will answer a lot of your mtred questions, btw.

mtred should work by default. Are you using the latest version?

.....

Any hints on how to adjust/troubleshoot the lag detection? For whatever reason mtred is always marked as lagged out for me  Sad

check with RedditorRex over at reddit.com/r/mtred - your ip may be blocked.

man IDK, looks like they just found a block, and as soon as the # of shares when down it turned red, and if it's anything like last time it's going to stay red until > 40%. It just looks like their json feed gets crippled when everyone hops on or at least it's crippled for me (yet I can hit it find in a browser). Any hints on adjusting the timeout on the lagger?

Bitclockers is working fine.  You have to test all 4 different servers for bitclockers.

pool.bitclockers.com
pool2.bitclockers.com
pool3.bitclockers.com
pool4.bitclockers.com

I started by pinging them all and personally 3 and 4 are the best for me.

I drink it up!

I did, 3/4 ping best for me as well, and I have tried both, and neither works for more than a couple minutes at a time before it lags out.  I'm not sure why, because watching the log it seems the requests are coming pretty well, but there is the occasional error, and bitHopper moves on

Well 3 and 4 is the same server.

Im getting lag out issues on all 3 servers, pool/pool2/pool3(4) aswell, not sure what the deal is other than late into a round I have tested it actually holds connection so I could only assume its bitclockers who cant handle the traffic.
