Code:
chmod +x src/leveldb/build_detect_platform

The OP shouldnt have used braindead format like zip to distribute source code.

Still doesn't want to work on my ubuntu 12.04 64bit platforms

make clean -f makefile.unix

Then try again

I am on ubuntu 14.04 64bit and after doing the above I am still receiving this error. Anyone come across this?

First, do you have all the libraries installed? In particular the leveldb library?  If not, install it (use 4.8 instead of 5.1, this is an old coin...):

Code:
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev

Second, compile create the leveldb files used by securecoin:

Code:
cd /home/ubuntu/securecoin/src/leveldb   #(assuming this is where your src/leveldb directory is installed)
make clean   #(just in case)
make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a

Then finish compiling either the QT or the headless.

The coin I am trying to build is here
https://github.com/bizcointeam/bizcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.txt

Versions used in this release:
 GCC           4.3.3
 OpenSSL       0.9.8g
 Berkeley DB   4.8.30.NC
Boost         1.37
 miniupnpc     1.6

Dependency Build Instructions: Ubuntu & Debian
----------------------------------------------
sudo apt-get install build-essential
sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
sudo apt-get install libdb++-dev
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev
sudo apt-get install libqrencode-dev

If using Boost 1.37, append -mt to the boost libraries in the makefile.

How do I append -mt to the boost libraries in the makefile? I have makefile open and I am not sure where to add the "-mt."

It has worked. I have no idea why now, after I have been trying different things all day.

It must have been the chant to the east and the ritualistic smoke infused tea.

GiGa whatever spells you cast to make this magic happen thank you.

prediction: dead within a week.

I'll wager 930 PHS that it won't be dead within a week...   Grin

-tb-

correction: without baritus's 200 m/h and army of blind sheep, the coin will be dead in a week.  Cheesy  you really think this guy isn't gonna do exactly what he did with DGC and ARG(flash mined the shit out of each and made bank pumping them on cryptsy) hell the only reason this coin hasn't been released yet is because he's gotta make a gpu miner for it. duh

funny how some piece of shit newbie loser decided to take the SRC trade symbol for an IPO scam coin..
many of us warned the coin ipo poster faaaar in advance too and he said he would change it.. he didn't.. hmmm wonder why ?
the exchange Poloniex is so god damn noob operation too, they added Source coin as the symbol SRC and when i told them they didn't even care..

stupid fucking retards need to use the search function before cloning IPO scam coins lol

the REAL "SRC" a dead coin ? uhhh no lol

the pool i was on before is still alive and kickin'

here is the top 5 users hashing numbers..

Quote
Rank    Donor    User Name    KH/s    SRC/Day    BTC/Day
1       anonymous    929,989    1,630.815    0.3996
2       ngoctuong    829,857    1,455.225    0.3565
3       anonymous    271,399    475.922    0.1166
4       anonymous    266,758    467.783    0.1146
5       anonymous    158,349    277.678    0.0680

So i wonder what kind of hash rate that stupid little noob clown has on his scammy IPO bullshit coin "Source Coin" ? hahhaha

First off, the IPO was not for SourceCoin, the IPO was for Coins Source INC, a registered company. SourceCoin is a promotional crypto gateway into www.coinssource.com. That's your first mistake.

Second of all, we've already heard your requests and we are changing SRC that's already in process. Before you start accusing anyone of a scam or cheat, do your homework because you are appearing a straight moron.

Lastly, securecoin is dead. There is virtually community backing and the digital coin team has abandoned it. It's subject to little rises and gains throughout the months, but there is no real future as a monetary system for this coin. You must have some large stakes in Securecoin, should of did more research before making such a commitment.

I'd advise you checking out our site, www.coinssource.com

and lastly, Whitecoin misses you.. respond to your coin community

i have said 50 times because "FIRST OF ALL"

you already said you had no idea and that you would change it, 2 fucking months ago....... NOW your playing dumb .

so why in gods name would there even need to be a request made in the first place ? explain that to me ??

a dozen of us laughed our ass off at you and told you.. wtf are are you doing noob Huh??

HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

cut the little bullshit crap and fix your deliberate mess you made ON PURPOSE !

no requested is needed ..you shouldn't have pulled a scammy stunt on an IPO clone coin anyway.
and you would have gotten away with it and Poloniex kidiots too had i not made a stink about it and shown everyone what a dumb fuck move that is.

AND how you have played dumb about it and gotten your lap dogs to attack me for stating the moronically retard obvious..
WHICH IS.. don't use existing Trade Symbol's & Reputation's from existing big name unique coin's,
by well known dev's to push your own scammy IPO clone coin's and capitalize on other peoples honest work to push your deceitful scammy IPO bullshit..
WHEN YOU HAD ALREADY BEEN TOLD ..faaaaaaar before it went on any exchanges like 2 fucking months ago !

you and POLO are morons and scammy kiddiots ones too boot.. and i want everyone to know about it loud and clear.

busted.. noob.

When you register here in January and decide to push your new "foundation" and your IPO clones do your homework and use the search button  Roll Eyes

bump 'cause this scammer is skulking around with endless little scams..
he know think he is starting a Trust Index system.
I guess this noob thinks it's HIS job now to decide what coins are trust worthy..
hmm ya scammy idiot noob pushing IPO scam clone coins is handing out Trust Ratings ? LOL

oh and it's been about 5/6 months since he started this crap with SRC and Poloniex never did take the coin of their site !
It's still sitting on Polo and it's still listed as SRC on there.. i just checked right now.
