would also like to see upnp support and a network hash cmd soon

If you are thinking of starting to mine this now.... don't bother
diff 256?? wtf
got 2 blocks at this diff with an i5

diff is now 512...

I think its less of an issue then it seems. since the starting difficulty was likely 20( around .000024) its basically a non factor. each second after a block is found difficulty is dropping simultaneously until an equilibrium between difficulty and desired block time released, so @ 59 seconds on the currentl block, difficulty is actually at .0002-.08

some one correct me if i'm wrong, but in all actuality this is how it actually works, because as nnonces(or ranges rather) are eliminated the difficulty is theoretically reduced because the untried nnonce range is reduced as the invalid nnonce ranges have all been tried and resulted in invalid block hashes. there is some correlation between the desired block time and difficulty, so perhaps difficulty is reduced per nnonce range

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

What's the prefix byte for SRC addresses for use with vanitygen?  I tried 125, but they result in invalid private keys.
The supposed public address starts with an "s", but you can't import them.

Anyone else mining using AMD cpu's IE a VPS with AMD Opteron 4171HE?

Any particular tweaks for minerd64? I am getting about 88KH/s for each thread on an 8 core VPS. Is that about right or should it be higher?

Cheers.

I get this randomly as well, on most of my miners.  If I can get connected, it seems to stay mostly connected, right now though, I can't get any new connections...

It generated it, but will it maintain it? Or is it just the first days hype?
