Best competitors to Ethereum?

Personally, I think the best competitor for ethereum is NEO even if it is not as potential or valuable as it is. Neo is a very good coin and also has very good technology and team members but it cannot beat ethereum.

Neo would have become a powerful competitor but I am thinking it is very much under utilized, most project developers still prefer etherium but I am thinking EOS will be that strong sooner to compete with etherium both in value and utility

Ethereum is doing as such well in the market and giving others coins a keep running for their esteem. On the off chance that there were to be any coin that I would view as a contender for Ethereum, it ought to be Litecoin and Monero and Maybe NEO. To me, these are the nearest contenders, yet despite everything they need to do as such much for themselves before we can effectively rank them with ethereum. In my opinion, NEO is the closest competitor to ethereum besides bitcoin. NEO is supported by governments and great developers from China. They use dBFT technology so that they can create transactions faster in seconds. But, I still believe that for at least the next few years ether will still stay above Neo.

Yes. NEO may be close to Ethereum in terms of development and innovation, but it hasn't reached the level of popularity ETH has yet. Most devs are launching dApps on the Ethereum blockchain, since it's the most secure and resilient smart contract platform to date. This may change soon though, as developers seek for scalable smart contract platforms with the cheapest fees possible.

If Ethereum doesn't manage to scale quickly, then its competitors would gain quite an advantage. While ETH is struggling in transaction processing speeds and high fees, others like NEO and EOS are much faster and inexpensive.

Therefore, that leaves us with NEO, EOS, and Cardano as the closest rivals against Ethereum from now and beyond. Just my thoughts

If I think in the world of Cryptocurrency, there are many altcoins that are competitors to Ethereum, EOS has a good chance, if their blockchain network is implemented, the real network will be implemented. I hope all coins develop and become a strong competitor of ethereum, because that would be better for the crypto market.

Yes I am also agree with you that there are so many other altcoins which are good competitor of etherium, I think that NEO  is also trading too much good and can be called as a good competitor of Etherium.

The most serious competitor to Ethereum is Aternity. It's still not that much well known, but it's already on 37 place on coinmarketcap. And it has super great technology, plans and intentions in comparison with Ethereum. Just look at this start up roadmap and the team behind it. That's why I have AE in my portfolio and will HODL it until tothemoon happens))

Now BCH is the second coin behind BTC, but I think ETH's rival is BCH because ETH will soon compete for 2nd place after BTC. Other Altcoins for me will not be able to.

Maybe someday they have competitors of the ethereum now but now I don't think they have. Because the most altcoins who are potential is the ethereum because of the possible to become next bitcoin or king. But all coins are possible to compete ethereum in the future depends on how the coin success.

I think you haven't seen the market for too long because in reality, currently ethereum is in second place after bitcoin. I think BCH is not a competitor of ethereum, EOS and NEO are more suitable to be competed as ethereum.

I don't think at this time there will be an Altcoin that will be able to compete with Ethereum, be it EOS, NEO, or other Coins. Ethereum is the best altcoin.

I agree, these are the altcoins I wanted to mention. EOS, Cardano and NEO may indeed be competitors to Ethereum, but so far they have failed.

I think the best option to compete with ethereum is cardano, it's platform is like the one from ethereum but seems reliable, doesn't have that much reliability like ethereum but it is definitely promising.

I think the best are ADA and EOS, they are pretty much like ethereum, they have less reliability due to them being less known though.

EOS is the best variant here to my mind, ETH is getting weaker and EOS is the best one to replace it in future, what is more EOS has much more potential.

I think that at the moment a strong competitor of the etheryum platform is the EOS project. But only because of the large audience of the project and its great popularity. Part of the funds can be invested in EOS.

Best competition to Ethereum platform will be Stella platform!  I heard Stella chain is interoperable and more secure than Ethereum platform!  Many other Altcoin are waking up and wants to get a piece of the action in smart contract activities!

I think the current eos is a competitor to ethereum. Because they have huge communities and very good, very insightful technology. But I don't think it's ever better than ethereum.
